You are correct - and I am finding that most of the eateries here are not much more expensive than some of the fast food places. I love eating a really good places but sometimes you crave that down and dirty bad for you burger you have eaten since a kid.

I do understand those issues - I managed restaurants in my early life! The one thing I cannot get over is - They have computers that tell them what is ordered. Here is the list - go down the list and make sure it is in the bag - not condiments - no problem but when you don't put the burger in the order when you go to BURGER X then is becomes crazy!! On the other issue - Does it take a seasoned professional fast food artist to know that you do not blow your freakin nose in a towel and wipe the counter with it!!!!!!! Like I said before in this thread - the symptoms discussed here are just that - symptoms - the real issue is we have society slowing changing over to "I could care less" attitudes and it worries me.

If you want quick food in our area - you only have a few choices at the time of night. So you take your chances. What I getting at here is - do we just not go back or do we stand up and complain to make it right! We are paying our money so we should get what we pay for at least - I called the place today and told the manager and got it corrected. Make the places you want to eat at give better service not just say nothing. Soon or later you will run out of places to go.

Ok - Here is the latest one - I went to BK tonight and got the - pull up to the dumba** who orders things we don't have or want to make area" and wait on your stupid order. She brings me the order - I ask her - is everything in the order that is on the receipt - do I have to look? Are you sure before I drive off? SHE says yes sir I checked your order and everything is there. You guessed it - I get home and the chicken sandwich is not there and worst of all it is the kids meal that is missing so I have to get another one!!! MAN do they even read at those places?

I lost my mom due to the very same thing and My Heart goes out to Benny as I know what he is going through is rough!! We are praying for you buddy!!!

Great looking Open Gun!! It looks like the trend is going back to non hybrid but that is for another thread.

I love STI and use most of their parts! However, it is still a factory pistol that needs tuning - it is what keeps to the gunsmiths in business!!!

Can someone let me in on any advantage or more accurately - improvement in your game to pay the large amount of money to get those grips? More weight? Brass magwell - cheaper no fitting problems - Just curious as I see many people looking for an edge and it ends up costing them allot more than just getting down to practicing more....

Here is the latest one - I went to a local Mexican Fast Food Place - not taco hell - I am in the drive through (at the window). I happened to be watching the guy making my order when he drops his towel on the floor - I am thinking - he is not going to pick that up is he? Sure enough the dumb A** picks up the towel wipes the food prep area with it and blows his nose on it! No Sh*t!!! He then finishes putting my order together and hands it to the girl to give to me! I will not say the words I used to express myself when she tried to give me the order!! The manager comes out and tries to give me the food for free! Are these people all from the retarded school of single wides!!! Nothing against single wides but at least get the double wide one

Everyone can agree on this one! You pull up to the drive through window - make your order - get the food - drive the X amount of miles back home. Pull up in front of the TV and break out the bad for you but tastes so good fast food!! HUH!!! They forgot my D*mm fries!! HUH!! They forgot the apple pie!! HUH they forgot the straws!!! Even worse - when you go back (if you do) they ask you - do you have a receipt - opps it is in the bad I left at home!! D*mm!!!!!! You know what - their prices are almost the same as some decent sit down restaurants now!! This is insane - I hate this!!!

I think two things should be looked at. 1. Large Match results should carry heavier weight when determining class. 2. Classifiers should be shot only once - no re-shoots for money or any other reason other than what is allowed for any other stage.

I had a similar conversation about a similar subject last week. My niece is a National top Chess player at the age of 9. They give out trophies all the way to 10th or 11th place. HUH!!!! Why are we rewarding loosing participants? If you win you win and if you loose - practice and get better. I am getting frustrated with this "it's ok everyone wins" philosophy CR*P!! Even if we did make cash payouts to top shooters on a regular basis - so what!! They got there by hard work, long hours and allot of THEIR OWN money! If you want to win - put the time and effort in! Not everyone in this sport due to many circumstances can afford to put the time and effort in and they shoot for the love of shooting! Fantastic!! Most matches pay out to class winners also - You are a C or D class shooter - you are in the money!! If the match is giving money to attract top shooters - Great - That means the average shooter gets to compete along side or next to top shooters - Merlin is also right - Always remember the people going up - you will see them going down - Most top shooters are easy to talk to and conduct themselves in a professional manner but as in any sport there are a few that stray from that. Our sport is unique in that you get to compete with the pros - Love it !!!

I really don't see a need to care if there are any Lady GM's. It is great having lady's being able to compete side by side with their husbands and or significant others at the local level and Major match level!! Do I think it is fair to the lady's to not have a separate Division? No!!!!! Our sport is special compared to other sports where you can compete like fire at major matches along side all types of people - who cares if they are GM, A C or whatever! We all know the lady's can shoot!!!! This sport would not be the same without them!! - so lets see if we can encourage them and not speak of negative things huh?

I rode up to Nationals this year with 2 shooters who took the chance of showing up with no slot. It was risky and un-certain! When we got there the staff gave them slots together and let them shoot! If you want to shoot bad enough it is worth the risk of going to Nationals but end of a photo taker. How bad do you want to shoot it?
