  1. There are some other issues that create that problem that I was able to see using a high speed camera. There is alot of side to side lateral motion of the shell as it enters the chamber. The lifter is used to stabilize that motion. I've noticed that the lifter has a lot of lateral side to side movement as it guides the shell up. Once welded it also lacks the forks that help stabilize some of that movement. I make a dish in the end of the lifter where the forks once were to help guide the shell. Shimming the lifter to alleviate that movement also helps tremendously. But that problem is quite common in these platforms as well as the Benellis. I've seen it in most shotguns out there.
  2. It very well could be the ammo you are shooting. It just might not like it. It could also be something with the installation of then FF handguard. Barrel nut not tight enough. Gas tube is not centered. Pressure being exerted on the gas block or gas tube. The crown may have an issue. Make sure the scope is mounted securely to the rail and the mount it is in. Check those things and see if anything is apparent. What kind of FF tube did you use?
  3. OK.....got it figured out. The Super Dynamic is now available in the 3 Gun Configuration as well as the Enhanced and Combat models. The Enhanced and Combat models are 2 stage variants. The 3 gun is the single stage or "hybrid" as it is described by Giessele. All Super Dynamic Variants are the flat trigger models.
  4. Run a quick search......thats been covered twice before on here. Common amongst the SLP and SX2/3 platforms.
  5. Hes had it long enough to get Red Neck Tacticalized.
  6. You may have a difficult time discerning the pretravel on the SD as opposed to the ball bearing like creep of the S3G......but there is a slight difference.
  7. The Super Dynamic(flat trigger) is a two stage. It has a small amount of pre travel before it hits a wall where the trigger breaks at. The Super 3 Gun(curved trigger) is a single stage. Meaning there is no pre travel and the pressure applied is directly against the sear for the break of the trigger. Its a matter of preference to which one you like. Both are fantastic triggers......just depends on what works best for you.
  8. I think the trigger could benefit from an overtravel screw in the nose. But Bill wants to keep them non adjustable. I added a bead of HeliArc weld on the nose and filed it to my liking. Night and day difference. Much shorter reset and a better feeling break. The set screw in the grip will not decrease the overtravel. That needs to be addressed on the opposite end on the nose of the trigger.
  9. The straight trigger is the Super Dynamic. Its like a tuned SSA(2 stage) with a flat trigger. The Super 3 Gun is a single stage with a curved trigger that rolls through a short controlled creep like its on ball bearings until it breaks kinda unexpectedly. Both of them are non adjustable other than tuning the springs. Non adjustable as meaning no screws. I'd like a S3G with a flat trigger to try out. That flat trigger feels good. I think Bill said he is gonna offer that in a few months once his exclusivity agreement with Midway runs out.
  10. Another FB3G in the history books. My favorite to date. Very straight forward stages with the usual Fort Benning appeal. My second favorite stage all year right behind shooting in a cave was stage 4 shooting 22 slugs in the shoothouse. JUST AWESOME! The live feeds were quite cool. Hats off to all invovlved. Aaron,Daniel,Lee,Travis,Shane,Tyler,Linda,Sandra,Joe and anyone else at the AMU I accidentally overloked. And the most deserving thanks....to all our soldiers who ensure that we can have these games and live freely day in and day out. All of you guys are the best. Hats off to my squad mates on squad 11. Good times to remember. Congrats to Taran Butler,Clint(the man on fire)Upchurch,Brian Ray,Kurt Miller for winning your divisions. Congrats to my good buddies and squad mates Joe Satterfield and Rob Romero for coming in just behind the winners of Tactical Optics and Tactical Irons. Thank You to all the sponsors and supporters of this match. Thank you to my sponsors(Noveske Rifleworks,Schmidt&Bender,Troy,Gieselle Automatics,Otte Gear,Kitanica,EM Gear and CPWSA) for making this a fantastic year. Awesome end to a fun year. Can't wait for next year.
  11. I don't have the flat trigger but love my Super 3 Gun trigger. I own some JP's but will soon replace all of my triggers with the Super 3 Gun. I'd like to try the flat trigger Super Dynamic soon.
  12. I think if you are LE, then the price for a Glock is actually a lot closer to $250, new, in the box. Not quite that cheap. FET Exempt price is $357 for fixed sights and $409 with Glock night sights on standard frame guns. Still a fine deal for a fantastic blaster.
  13. Its the Progressive Machine and Tool Titanium bolt handle. To my knowledge....no longer made and only ever made for the Benelli. It is non rotating. The GG&G is a steel rotating bolt handle but has the same profile of the PM&T. The new Jumbo lightweight handle by Nordic is pretty awesome. It is the bolt handle that we are running now.
  14. Hats off to Cindy and Bill Noyes and all involved that made this match what it was....AWESOME! My compliments to the RO's and match staff that volunteered their time. Its always a treat to get the opportunity to shoot the quality stages that Larry Turner designs and builds. They are world class. Larry has been a huge asset to GA and A6. Us locals get to shoot his world class stages at our local matches on a regular basis. Congrats to all the winners of their respective divisions. Chris Sechiatano who flew all the way from the Peoples Republic of California to come and win Tactical. Unfortunately his win did not get him the A6 champion title but yet was handed down prior California shooting rival Rob Romero who was a tight runner up. Clint Upchurch who has been setting the Open division on fire in his short first year of 3 gun, Tom Carpenter who conquered Limited, and Michael Fordyce who drove back to Florida with the Heavy Metal title as A6 Champion. Thanks again to all that made this happen. I'm proud to have had this match in my backyard per se the past few years.
  15. Jeff c has the most ATAS shoes everrrr.
  16. The triggers are extremely simple to install. They are non adjustable. The only adjustment I do is tweak the legs of the trigger spring a little.
  17. I've been running one for the past two months and so have my Noveske Team mates. Very slick trigger. Unlike anything I've ever felt. Its the best trigger I have ever shot. I love the way it feels.
  18. So how do you take the stock back off if need be? I've had mine loosen on me in a match. When I cut mine down, I used plastic blocks and acraglassed them in place and added threaded inserts for new machine screws to screw into. Worked great and I could remove my recoil padd and make adjustments and retighten the stock if it loosened. I'll also add.....overtightening the nut that affixes the stock can over torque the tube and cause the gun to short cycle on a regular basis.
  19. The absolute best flash hider on the market right now is the AAC Blackout. Its noticeably better than the Smith Vortex and the Smith Vortex has set the standard for a long time. But yes.....accuracy will not be affected by the installation of a flash hider. What can change....is POI. Thats usually a function of how tight the flash hider is installed.
  20. The G35 at Ed's has adjustable sights. The fixed sight guns are $480.70. The adjustable sights add $22 and make it $502.70. The Gen4 guns have not had a price increase over the Gen3's.
  21. The Gen4 G37 has been out for almost 2 months now. The next G4 models to be released are the G26 and G27 which is any day now.
  22. I just saw their Facebook announcement showing they got them in. Ed's Public Safety Facebook Announcement
  23. On the Benelli, follow the radius of the indention to the load port. I use a dremel sanding drum and finish it out with sandpaper on my finger. I also add a bevel going into the mag tube.
