  1. If the competitor calls it himself, then it's no different than a gun malfunction during a course of fire.

    P226 mag drop issue

Sounds like a defective mag. I've bought those.
  3. Agreed. I just recently tried Precision Delta, Acme and Precision bullets from prize table prizes, but the best accuracy, less smoke and toughest coating was with the j-ames bullets. Especially in my M&P 40, STI 5" 1911 and Glock 19 and 20. Real reliable feeding too. That J-ames bullets was the one company I really originally liked, but I won bullets at matches and tried them for shiggles and now I'm back to what I always liked. I just re-ordered from j-ames a week ago, they said they are so swamped with orders, they can only ship 1,500 max per order. well, kind of disappointing, but no problem the shipping is free so I don't care about making multiple orders. "For some reason it hates slow rounds (less than 1000 fps) ." --- ^ That's likely due to the twist rate of your barrel and bullet weight. I had that same problem until I changed out the barrel.
  4. You should just wait for those coated bullets to arrive. Scraping out encrusted lead deposits is a real chore.......
  5. So you're saying it's OK to fully grip a holstered unloaded gun on a cold range? The rules say that "handling" of firearms can only be done at the "Safe Table" or "during/under direct command of a Range Officer" I am still unsure of what is actually allowed and what is not when it comes to "handling" of firearms.
  6. Is it a violation of USPSA or SCSA Rules to be standing around the range with your unloaded handgun in your holster and have your shooting hand wrapped completely around the grip of that gun the same way it would be if you were drawing and shooting the gun? I'm thinking it may be a DQ because it's "handling a firearm" outside of a hot range course of fire without a range officer giving you the command to handle a firearm??
  7. The stage designer should be DQ'd The RO should be DQ'd
  8. Who cares if they ship in 3 days or a week. They probably sell a lot less is why. Higher quality shipped in a reasonable time is all that matters.
  9. I need to buy a fancy open gun and get into that!
  10. Try these guys. Great company. Great customer service. Good prices. Fast shipping. https://www.gunsprings.com/
  11. I think that's a spring roll pin. Replace with a new one but use the red high strength locktite when you replace it.
  12. I like that magwell. Who makes it?
  13. I had mine tig welded and remachined. They're not always made tight enough
  14. LOL. What competitor of theirs are you? Clearly, you are one. It must really make your blood boil to hear a real J-Ames Bullets customer rave about their products haha. Personally, I think your troll comments are actually quite complimentary to them. I will also say the J-Ames customer service and pricing, especially with the discounts are the best I've seen thus far. Shipping isn't the fastest. Email replies are fast and very professional. But I've done my homework too. I'm no ordinary buyer. I only buy the highest performing products in their category, even if their prices are higher. My wife will vouch for that, since she sees all my expense invoices Lol. I don't read or care about online reviews anywhere, since too many of those "reviews" are from company owners. I just simply buy and try. I don't care what obvious trolls post. Unfortunately, the world is filled with too many jealous troll haters. Look at what's happening with poor Trump. You know he's badass powerful cool and everyone wants to be him with his successes with all his troll haters. He's the icon epitome of real unrelenting power and talent. The more haters he has, the more I LOVE the guy. AN UNCUT VIDEO in REAL TIME speaks ten thousand words! I have a great video of my heat tests done with three popular bullets, including a J-Ames bullet as described above on my first post in this thread. I will upload it on YouTube when I get time and send J-Ames a link to it. Very cool video! I'm sure the ( two ) people posting in this thread will enjoy it
  15. the tighter fit in the slide definitely helps with loosening issues. all the expensive firearms are machine to make it as tight as possible, so that's not just for looks.
  16. Heavy heavy guns. I have grown tired of mine. They're just so heavy to maneuver around when you're shooting fast.
  17. i guess that surgeon was concerned about nerve damage. but I would've required a second opinion. a sharp jagged metal object left in muscle tissue is very very bad. I had three shrapnels removed after they caused me so much agony for the years they were in there.
  18. Yes, I did look. Only one 45 bullet in all those links has a flat base. All the rest are bevel based. I have bought some of those. And (you) should watch (your) intentional fight provocative and false accusation remarks in this forum from (all) of (your) account(s). (You) most certainly sound like a jealous competitor of theirs. No doubt about that now. Not that it's any of your business, but I'm in the styro-foam cushion materials business. Hence my name "Styro".
  19. I've used that trigger, but it feels like a toothpick under the trigger finger. Not a controllable comfortable feel for my liking.
  20. The parts you made look really heavy in weight
  21. You should go to the Hodgdon powder website and look at their data. http://www.hodgdonreloading.com/data/pistol
