  1. So does anyone know when the next update will occur? Will it be the middle of October or right after the nationals?
  2. So much for getting classified in Open before the NC Sectional. Oh, well, I've been told I have no class before.
  3. http://www.ramshot.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/burn_rates.pdf This chart shows Competition is faster than Clays? and a good ways from 320. Or am I miss reading it?
  4. Silhouette looks like a closer match. Check Western Powders burn chart.
  5. If you do a search in match announcements for Area 6, you will find this info. For some reason I could not get the link to paste.
  6. From everything I've read, the risk of detonation is lower if you flip and catch than if you eject slowly (which makes total sense from a physics standpoint). You're going to have to *prove* (not speculate) that there is a greater risk of detonation for me to care about this issue. So please show me a list of shooting schools that actually teaches this. Is Gunsite on that list? Is this taught to LEO's at the academy? Does our military teach this "safe" way to unload. The safest by what you have read?(where are you reading) Pleeeeze!
  7. usps has to deliver the package. Once they take it from MG, they are responsible to have it DELIVERED to your home. Call the postmaster in Washington DC if they are refusing to deliver because of the weight. USPS are the ones that came up with the flat rate shipping. Tell them to quit their crying and deliver the package "TO YOUR DOOR".
  8. Rather have a detonation at my feet than my face.
  9. I've seen hundreds of people leave a football stadium after drinking beer during a 4 hour football game. But never seen them wreck their cars! There is a risk of detonation. Live primer on an ejector! it has happened and people have been hurt. It's a risk to the shooter and the SO. You turn the gun to the left, and then you are expecting the extractor tension to hold a live round? So the weight of a loaded round can come off the extractor. Simply put,, it ain't worth it, Don't try to tell me that sometimes those rounds do not fly out in front of you. Which is also in front of the gun.I have seen people sweep themselves. I believe there was such a detonation at the FL Open this year. I'll bet that shooter stopped the practice of doing it.
  10. I would rather be impressive unloading the bullets out the end of the barrel; than when showing clear. Is it really worth the risk, and is 1 bullet that important?
  11. Here where an issue may lie. Lots of trust hoping the extractor holds the round in place. It will/may run, but will it be 100% for hundreds/thousands of rounds. I would look into a Glock 35 or 24. Or go back to the 20 for this set up. JMO
  12. I remember shooting that stage, I think. There was enough slack to make a reload, and if I remember correctly, you didn't have to switch hands, but it wasn't easy shooting to the far opposite side.
  13. Shoot good out of my 21, Clays powder, Fed primers.
  14. WWB isn't what it used to be.Stick with your reloads, it's better than WWB obviously. Glocks are not that complicated, many issues can be fixed with some good advice from a lot of posters on here.
  15. That's interesting, but not necessarily factually correct. I shoot factory ammo from my G19 (Remington included) , Post chrono my G19 is always in the 128-132 pf range...Comfortably above the 125 pf floor. This is what I speak of:http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=177243
  16. That's interesting, but not necessarily factually correct. I shoot factory ammo from my G19 (Remington included) , Post chrono my G19 is always in the 128-132 pf range...Comfortably above the 125 pf floor. ALWAYS is a strong word. Any long time shooter of winchester factory whitebox 9mm will tell you there has been a change in the quality of their product. Winchester 22 ammo used to be my "go to" brand , not anymore. Huge demand for the amount of ammunition lately has caused a poor quality of product to appear, fact? NO! , Opinon...yes!
  17. standard loads(factory) are now sub-standard. Remington green and white probably wouldn't even make power factor out of a 19. Ammo quality has taken a dive the last few years, even most 22 lr is suspect.
  18. I would start with just the trigger return spring, go to stock spring. But I would also test current set up with fed primers and not assume they will work also.
  19. Not hit on primer? Something with the safety plunger, check if the spring turned sideways.
  20. This is going to sound strange, but did you put a 4.5# connector in this gun? If so, try a different one, 5.5# or a diff 4.5#.

    "Shadow Line"

I like the gun, but think it's couple hundred dollars over what it should be priced. It's a $750-$800 gun.
