  1. No such thing as a local rule in USPSA. And therein lies the rub. The RO in scenario 2 thinks that he should be enforcing a club rule about muzzle direction on reloads without getting approval of USPSA and its President.
  2. Here are the 2 scenarios I am concerned may be RO interference under 8.6.4.(the portion underlined) In the event that inadvertent contact from the Range Officer or another external influence 1. Shooter is traversing a long course of fire with the RO and Scorekeeper in somewaht proper condition. RO calls out alpha-mike. Shooters noticably hesitates as if to come back to make up the mike but continues on and finishes the stage and complains at the end. Is it RO interefence when he calls Alpha-Mike and if so, does shooters stop and ask for reshoot? If RO interference, does shooter finish and ask for reshoot. 2. Shooter is shooting a (sort of) medium course of fire and RO calls muzzle on clearly legal reloads because RO does not like the usual USPSA/IPSC reload where muzzle is high left or right rather that pointed directly into rear impact area. R.O. intereference under 8.6.4? Very distracting to all shooters each time he does it. What say you?
  3. I receive my orders faster from Chuck that it takes me to get to my local gun shop to visit. Great folks to deal with. NOBODY has better service!!!!! NOBOBY!!!!!
  4. Unfortunaly many fear traveling to NJ with guns. I am from PA and travel in and out of Nj for matches periodically. It is no big deal as long as you follow FOPA and do not spend the night in NJ. Vlad and his folks at CJ run a real good match. I am shooting Sunday as I am shooting the Steel Challenge at York, PA on Saturday. You will not be disappointed in this match. I hope to see more BENOS shooters at the match.
  5. That does sound pretty high... I've dealt with CED on some other orders and they seemed fair. Maybe that is just what it costs based on size? I bought my bag from Shooters Connection - they were great. They do not however have the Rangecart Pro on their site yet. If you want a product that Chuck at Shooters Connection can get, just ask. He will get it for you. I have done this on several occasions. Great people to work with , super service and very fair and super fast shipping .
  6. I now have a trial the day after the West Virginia match. Is there anyone who is interested in taking my spot on the team? Match fee is paid. PM me if interested. Thanks.
  7. I didn't ask for USPSA's or IDPA's logos, I just sent my design to G2 and told them to put those on there. I don't have any commercial vendors names or manufacturers on my shirt though so I'm not sure about that. The shooting sports logos are good to go to use guys...most vendors will give you permission and then of course you can always say you have permission. Who says it is ok to use uspsa's logo? Terms of use agreement says otherwise.. Inform me if I am wrong please.. Techwear has a list of logos that THEY have obtained permission to use. If it is not on their list then you have to get permission.
  8. 300 yard skinny sammys are just if not more likely and over some really beautiful natural terrain. I hope to see all of you at Peacemaker.
  9. Super match. Thanks for the great stages and even better staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See you all next year.
  10. Yes, there has been a delay with the competition model. We are waiting on 2 of them.
  11. I am pretty sure you can get them from www.powerfactorshooting.com
  12. I also run Briley Extended chokes in my Saiga that I bought from Sean at Power Factor. Love these much much better than the flush Benelli chokes on my Benelli.
  13. I'm just getting into rifle shooting - silly question, but how large are the 300, 400 & 500 yard targets? How close do we have to be to hit them? Are we talking about USPSA targets at those distances? At FN 3 gun we shot at mini poppers (12 inch)and mini colt speed plates at anywhere from 75-275 yards. Rifle better be on at these targets and distances.
  14. Yesterday my local PNC Bank where our gun club also banks was robbed at gunpoint.
  15. Steve:

Can you share who the idiot was at York. I am LPRGC and we cannot have an incident there. Thanks.

  16. Who mills the slide for a slide-mounted RTS or makes a dovetail mount for the RTS? I would suggest talking with one of the gunsmiths on this forum. They are first rate.
  17. If you like the smaller Leupold for the XD and other types of "stock" pistol, take a look at the C-More STS or RTS. It is smaller, the slide can be milled or dovetailed for the sight and instead of having to remove the sight to replace the battery, it has a little door on the passenger side. I use them on my open shotguns and as my secondary sight for open rifle and it beats having to rezero after the battery dies. This is a first rate small sight.
  18. If that is the case, is there really any reason for the rest of us to spend the time and money to attend 3 of the 4 qualifying matches other than for the competition?
  19. How about a Blackhawk, a Huey and an Appache?
  20. Reload the way you are and just keep you finger out of the trigger guard. No finger on trigger, no bang but certain clubs do not seem to understand this. Enjoy!
