  1. Comp Tac Belt Holster and Ready Tactical mag pouches for me.
  2. 8.8.2 covers this. It says "Cleated shoes designed for specific sports (i.e., football, baseball, golf, etc.) may not be worn. Speedcross aren't cleats.

    Not normal

Stay away from the SP-01 in this case. It will limit your mods for IDPA as Rowdy mentioned. A 75 Shadow in 40 is what you want I think based on your wants. You could get it/set it up for SAO, put a magwell on it, and then only change recoil springs for Major/Minor.
  4. It's all fair game in ESP.
  5. I think you should have no problem learning either technique. Decide which divisions you prefer, and train from there. Would you rather trick out the gun with a mag well, etc? Does your state allow high cap mags for Ltd? If so, train to disengage the safety and run it SAO. Would you prefer keeping it "stock" from CZC and stock mags? Then learn the DA first pull. You'll also need to dry fire practice manually lowering the hammer after LAMR for the DA start. Either way, dry fire is your friend. Whichever you decide, it doesn't require a single live-fire round to get it nailed down. The good thing about the 75, is that is very versatile and you could run it either way. The downside to running it in Ltd would be scoring minor if it's 9mm. I just switched to an SP01 Shadow from Mink. I came from an M&P 9 Pro with magwell in ESP/Ltd. I now shoot SSP/Prod. I won't shoot Ltd Minor again. The triggers on these things are so good, the DA first pull isn't very difficult to learn. Again, dry fire is where you need to learn all of this stuff. Sure, go shoot the thing since its your new toy, but dry fire is where you should be ingraining the technique that you choose.
  6. I bookmarked this page when I saw it posted somewhere here. http://www.olegnikitin.com/news/complete-disassembly-assembly-of-cz-75-sp-01-shadow
  7. From what I have found/read, Mecgar does not sell individual mag parts. It sucks. You can order factory CZ locking plates and buy the CZ base pads from Springer. That will add $5 per mag to get what you want though. It may be cheaper to buy new Mecgar 17rd mags from Cote, buy the Mecgar bases from Springer, and sell the 19 rounders complete.
  8. Yeah, I've already figured that out, thanks. No luck unfortunately. No biggie.
  9. How about anyone on squads 31 or 35? Any single shooters on either squad willing to swap? Thanks.
  10. No, not in factory form anyways. The finger cutout on the bullet nose side of the pouch violates rule 8.6.2.4, although rule 8.6.1.4 says that carriers may be modified to meet IDPA rules. So, one could get creative and make it work I think. As long as you can mount it to pass the 3/4" dowel test, and cover the entire outer face, then yeah. That's how I see it anyway.
  11. Dude, I have like six of them I think.
  12. Anyone lurking out there a single shooter on squad 31 or 32? I'm throwing it out there to see if I can find someone on either squad willing to swap with me or a buddy. We weren't able to get the same squad earlier today. If so, please contact me and we'll figure out how to coordinate it. Thanks! Mike madmike283 at gmail
  13. In with 6 for my first visit!
  14. As much as I would hate to be without it for three weeks, I don't think it's worth the trouble. Unfortunately I don't have the flexibility to stay on the PA side. I definitely can't afford to get hemmed up in Jersey for any length of time. Since it seems so confusing, I'm better off playing it safe I suppose.
  15. Thanks for the info. I will be flying, most likely via Newark. I also travel to Delaware via Philly and have taken my stuff with me there with no hassles. I understand and am comfortable with the TSA/flying portion, I'm most concerned to get some clarification on Jersey itself. I'm flying in, staying at a hotel for three weeks, and would transport the gun with 10rd mags to and from the match/hotel only.
