  1. Aint this the truth. i bought 16 lbs of it march of 21 and havnet been able to find it since
  2. I have 3 of the 170s and ive used them with both 9 major and 38 sc for several matches and they function perfectly I did keep 1 170 mbx for the 29 rd stage, but i mean theres always a place to reload so i dont think theres any specific advantage to that 1 extra round. Ive heard if you use the tti thin followers in the atlas mags you can get that 29th rd in but like i said im not sure if its even any advantage anymore
  3. i agree but i swear they released 4 classfiers right? or did i imagine that and they only released the 1?
  4. slap some new springs in them and sell them and use the atlas competition mags. they are 100% better
  5. didnt they release 4 new classifiers after nats this year? The only one ive seen is trigger freeze...what are the other three? Has anyone shot them?
  6. i have 4 open guns, all in 38sc and i bought a 1050 specifically for the purpose of reloading the money isnt really an issue for me. i shoot to chill with friends for a day after work beats my ass all week, frankly it never mattered to me where i finished or how i performed. If its a good match then its a good match, if not oh well, ill clean the gun and it will be a good match next time.
  7. i shoot my open guns without cleaning until i hit a match where the gun fails and the slide slows down once every 5ish matches seems to be the sweet spot
  8. the only way to deal with a dq is to get angry yell and shake your fist and try to argue your way back into the match demand to see the ROs current credentials call the CRO over challenge it with the MD and i would never stick arounf to help after a dq. I pack my stuff and go. if clubs want to be liberal about handing out a dq then they can suffer the consequences if they are short staffed enough that they need someone to stick around and help
  9. i asked admin a long time ago where i should post these videos and the response was that the uspsa shooting section would be a good place
  10. I upload these because I think people might enjoy seeing them. All I do is show up and shoot matches. I have nothing to do with how any stage or classifier is set up or run I took this down because it seems like this is going to just turn into an argument Frankly, I had never even seen this classifier before and I generally have no idea how any of them are supposed to be set up I just show up and shoot
  11. Shot an absolute abomination of a match at TRC. Everything that could go wrong did. I had stovepipes, failure to ignite on the hammer drop, my optic mount even came loose (you can see me holding it on with my thumb some stages) There were tons of no shoots, drop turners, and swingers combined with some pretty lengthy shots. I know the sound is messed up also, still have to figure that one out I had a great time with friends, but due to gun and ammo related issues, my match performance suffered. Very glad this was the second to last match Ill shoot until at least January. I need a break..
  12. i mean say what you want but anytime you are drawing on a target doing sub second draws its an advantage if my first shot is .78 im already on the next array by time you are drawing
  13. i agree ive been scoop drawing so much i actually forgot how to regularly draw. its way faster
  14. mounting holes to frame the mount for the optic has the same footprint as the rts2 and the ftp will just fit right on
  15. the akai mount fits the XWF with slight modification you just need to mill out a little around the holes you can do this in 30 mins with a hand file
  16. its faster for scoop draws since you just have to come straight up with your hand
  17. speed. you can outrun a D or M on a stage also its a lot easier to teach a speedy person to be accurate than the other way around. i know that because I was the accurate guy who had to learn to be fast to level up between classes. My first few matches it was like "well I shot all alpha, why didnt I win" and the resounding response was "because you ran the stage in 30 seconds!!"
  18. i use .360 for the front feed lip and ,350 for the back in 38sc. I would check that first because it is possible that other people just also have s#!tty mags. If they didnt tune their feed lips then it would result in the same issues in your gun
  19. switch to the FTP alpha optics 3 I have about 20k on my open gun with that dot and it has never failed and never lost zero. its hands down the best dot on the market. its also made by an actual uspsa shooter. customer service is top notch(even though ive never had to send it back) and half the price of the sig. its worth a try at least
  20. lol my buddy owns an impound lot/junkyard you wouldnt believe how little money i pay him to take those boats off his hands. I fix them up in my shop and then resell them and or go take them to the lake and fish with them
  21. i cant wait till they kill prod because then people can discover the one true division...open /s..but only sort of
  22. well...i mean im getting the boats for almost free, and i already own the shop and equipment for restoration.. so its actually just more of my own time that goes into it I suppose if i had to buy the boats or components it might be a ton of money, and occassionally when i run out of materials i might have to go get more, but boat supplies are a lot more available than gun supplies.
