Buy a JP and add the smoke hand guard and never look back , mine has run flawlessly. Also given the problems with the hyper fire run a JP trigger . -
JP jumps on the short stroke bandwagon
TNREDNECK replied to 3gunnuts's topic in Pistol Caliber Carbine
I think you just have to tune to your likes and of course ammo, I had my stock scs and a enhanced and moved the tungsten to to the enhanced which jp calls the H5 shortstroke , but I wanted to keep the last round hold open so I left the enhanced end on it . -

I am running the enhanced with 5 tungsten and it shoots very flat , also installed the Smoke composite 12 hand guard and JP 14.5 pinned and welded with titanium comp. 6.2 lbs GMR 15. -
Just wondering if they made you register them when you originally made the purchase, you hear about all kinds of extreme regulation in California. Thankfully we still don’t have those problems in the South.
-
So do they have a way to track what you have or is it the honor system?
-
So you have no choice but to get good at mag changes , no Goliath mags would stink for me .
-
Do you guys have mag restrictions to deal with ?

That’s the 12 inch that I have on my gun I think you would need the same size . The MBX is barrel. Is shorter then the JP , mine is 14.5 pinned and welded with the titianum comp . Can’t wait to shoot it . -

Got my smoke today, wow I love it. I with B it’s the only one for me . I got the letter also , we want you to be completely happy . -
Sarge I think you are missing the point, it was I that asked for a refund because the barrel doesn’t shoot as advertised, when they said no I asked for a midweight barrel they said no . In all the videos that MBX. Posts they say they are using there hand loads. Which it seems from the results from the testing shot nice. Not the case with factory ammo. Not a tite group consistently. If there 1.5 at 25 what are they at 45 . Three to five. At this point all I wanted to let others know the barrel is not accurate with anything but handloads a lot of people use factory ammo. If that’s the case they should get the midweight barrel , or another brand of barrel. It’s just sharing information. There is no other reason , but you have the right to believe what you like thanks for your input. Or maybe there were 3 or more barrels that have some kind of defect , if it’s manmade it’s not perfect.

I am a contractor, one time I bought a piece of equipment that after it got warm the engine would die, disengage the pto it would start right up, engage it would die . Took in in 9 times to be repaired, shop couldn’t figure it out . To get me a replacement machine took manufacturer, distributor and dealer participation. Distributor refused my dealer stepped up to the plate and got me another machine, took the loss . And got a customer for life have spent over 100 k with him , since then . And then the manufacturer figured it out and fixed the problem. The machine cost 10 k . He did the right thing and was rewarded. Oh yea and you know I send him business all the time .

You can get the Sterns adapter and use Glock mags , the quarter circle 10 is the way I would go with the upper, my son just got a CK Arms Barrel that shoots nice I like JP . Good luck you will love the PCC .
-
My son is the shooter, 4 division Grandmaster, master class Uspsa, he can shoot, with a good scope on everything except the first shoots were red dot .
-
The barrel has now had around 500 rounds shot through it plus whatever MBX shot , we found that it doesn’t like polymer coated bullets. Also found that the Montana gold 115 fmj bullets shot nice . But we were not able to find any factory ammo to consistently group . Not sure if more shots will improve the consistency .
-
I agree with Jack, bench first at the range you will shoot most then confirm freehand, I shoot steel so there are some longer shoots I like 25 yards. Try some different brands of ammo to see what you like best , once you find a brand or handload you like sight in and have fun.

The JP out of the box is by far the best PCC not even close , And the Gentleman is trying to protect our sovereignty, or would prefer open borders like Europe. Finally have a Adult in charge . -
My PCC comparison, JP is worth it.

I love the TF mags also they are great people to deal with ! -

I would buy some competition ammo. It’s a Hugh difference, as Memphis said it’s about flat not recoil , we are shooting 135 blue bullets at 150 PF and they are very soft and flat shooting .
