  1. I agree with most of Memphis comments except his line up on guns I will take a tuned BB over a guard all day everyday , and so will the the guy with long arms. Lol
  2. Always clean after every outing , I use amsoil gun cleaning spray and blow out lower every time, follow up with Q tips and apply light oil . It is time well spent, gun runs 100% ..
  3. At our club we have carts, muzzle down and up and also carts and bags, the guys with bags take much longer if they take the bag to the table. We make sure everyone goes to the line up or down it’s not a issue at all . Requiring bags will just slow down the match.
  4. BLT where in Indiana, I am from Huntington before I got kicked out and moved to TN , Lol first year we were in the south my oldest son went to school and they asked if he was a yankee , I told him tell them your a Hoosier . Lol
  5. I am with Homie the 510c is hard to beat reliable and affordable, I have a eotech on my AR22 and would choose the 510 every time .
  6. I like the JP also but buy direct from them, they have great service it just works . They have 2 on there site if you will be competing get the one with the competition comp . $1749 .
  7. I love my 510c I also added the riser which helped me , I am getting parts together for a backup gun and will add another 510c the circle dot works better for me . The razor is nice , if my eyes were better would love one .
  8. My son runs lead star bolt with success, I am sceptical on lightweight barrels due to bad experience with one (not lead star ) I found a carbon fiber hand guard that is very light , in my opinion is a better way to go . Smoke composites ,great company let them know your competition shooter 20% off . I like JP barrels, my son is running a CKarms.com very nice barrel 14.5 pinned and welded with there comp very accurate. Good luck on your build you love PCC
  9. It can also be too much spring, when trying different weights on my SCS I installed 5 tungsten weights and would get a stove pipe occasionally with 135 grain ammo at 150 PF took 1 tungsten out no more stove pipes , also with factory ammo no stove pipes . FYI
  10. In the South all most all the states are still free , legal everywhere !
  11. As long as you have all your events planned out in advance , it would be no problem ,but no spur of the moment SBR match, that’s what the pro shooter that comes to our club says, it’s no problem for me club match only .
  12. The problem with the SBR is getting permission to travel to different states not the cost of the stamp , at least that is my understanding.
  13. I download by 1 on my TF and my ETS mags but there just 40 rounds if that matters I also download my MBX from 47 to 45 but they all run flawlessly. PS I think in your post you said 58 rounds I believe they are meant to max at 57 maybe you compressed the spring ?
  14. In Our testing the 135 grain bullet gave us the best results , fast cycles, accurate, and dot movement , when we went above 135 the recoil was less but the cycles were slower and on long shots accuracy suffered . I believe most of the pros are shooting somewhere from 124 to 135 grain bullets . FYI
  15. If they didn’t last more then a few months I would find a new mag , I have shot TF mags for over a year still run like the day I purchased them.
  16. We shoot blue bullets every match, both me and my son both have comps no problems, we like the 135 blue bullets at 150 PF, I shoot a JP he’s got custom gun CK Barrel both pinned and welded. The comps work !
  17. Satisfaction guaranteed they are great people to work with, tell them your competition shooter 20% off .
  18. Smoke Composites have some nice ones if your looking for fixed !
  19. Asking for trouble with the light loads, if your not careful they won’t make it out of the barrel and they will stack up inside. It’s much safer to run PF and tune your buffer .
  20. Was doing some more testing in preparation for match tomorrow, the heavy 5 enhanced was too much weight for my ammo , would occasionally not cycle ,so took 1 tungsten weight out and switches to stainless, cycles ok now so for factory ammo the 5 tungsten is soft . So the SCS is 4 tungsten and 1 stainless enhanced . Ammo 135 blue bullets 150 PF
  21. No but the blue bullets use different coating, no leading at all , we break our barrels in with plated or FMJ , after a couple hundred rounds we go polymer.
  22. Is the new one made for PCC ?
  23. We have had good success with the 135 blue bullets , shoot nice , accurate and the price is good . Guess I plugged the blue bullets earlier in the thread oh well they work in our guns LOL
