That’s what reliable is runs right out of the box .

All you have to do is install a smoke hand guard and the weight and nose heavy issue of JP is gone , they just run, are accurate, easy to get parts, easy to clean . Have never had I problem from my JP 10 k rounds, the guys at our club with MPX have trouble getting them to run consistently they seem to be ammo sensitive. But when they run do fine , it’s a no brained if you ask me JP if you want to know for sure just watch someone clean his MPX then a JP .

Or just go Glock mags. Problem solved .

Don’t handicap yourself with the budget, getting a gun you will not be happy with , spend your money on the gun get the belt later, you can get a couple of 33 round ets mags and a 27 and build from there. Oh yea go Glock not colt .

Gmr 15 all the way, all you need is a lite weight handguard if anything, bye the time you build a good Frankenstein gun you will save little. The GMR has great trigger , great barrel , and they run . There’s a reason they sell more then anyone else quality and customer support. If you build quarter circle upper and lower JP everything else , my son runs a Ck Barrel in his custom build . JP sells more PCC then then anyone else for a reason they run, and there accurate and they back all up with customer service , which in today’s world is rare .

Got a great price but it’s on back order so I am still waiting, can’t wait to get it and try it out .

Buy the JP direct from them for $1600 why pay more then you have to through a middle man, also someone said the 15 had a billet upper that’s not the case unless you buy the top of the line with the side charge. They are great guns mine has been flawless!

Smoke will do whatever length you want small upcharge, but you get what you want !

Smoke composites 14 inch they feel unbelievable cheaper then isler and just as good , customer service unbeatable , I just received 2 (14) and shot with them yesterday. Best I have ever shot my PCC and the conditions were crummy, also check out there new finger stop. Let them know your competition shooter 20% off .

My JP runs everything thing that I have feed It ,and never jammed once over 5 k . And have shot just about every weight and type of bullet testing to figure out what my son and I would run . I believe they have it down .

I will say we always break a new barrel in with plated or jacketed bullets before we switch to the blue bullets around 500 .

We shoot blue bullets with clean shot no leading , my gun Gmr 15 titanium comp, sons custom gun CK Barrel and comp . We clean our guns after each match .

No sleeve, barrel nut and hand-guard slides over top of nut 6 screws done , we tightened it most of the way down and then tightened to get it aligned the way I wanted it ,very easy.

But that’s why they make Fords and Chevy, and on.

There are no shims, it was so easy torqued it down and tightened just a touch more done 5 mins .

I don’t think you can beat the Smoke personally, very strong feels great in your hand . And unlike the coda no trunion much cleaner and easier to install. I just ordered another one today for my 22 AR . Great people to deal with !!

Is that even against a green foliage background that’s my concern, our berms are covered with grass and I was afraid my eyes would not pick up targets ?

I love mine got it on sale at primary arms, great service and fast shipping . I wish I knew someone with a green one wondering if it helps older eyes.

No problem just sharing, I believe the gun is fine the midweight barrel shoots nice my son has one .

I would disagree with the customer service, the lightweight barrel is ok if you shoot handloads not consistent if you shoot factory ammo. I recommend you stay with JP
