  1. If you want a good alternative to the MBF then go onto Facebook and look of Karl Bibb Reloading stuff for sale. He makes his own 3d printed MBF and it works very well. There are many happy customers in his group, that he does not pay to hang out in there.
  2. How oh how does it lock up on stepped brass? That would be inside the case, and not near the primer pocket. If you want to check for checked brass you would nee to get something like the Judge die.
  3. Buying a trimmer setup and would like to know the differences between the Carbide 223 and the steel dies. Is the upgrade in $$$ worth it performance wise?
  4. Appreciate the responses. Hopefully will see you out there.
  5. Im in Raleigh, where you doing 3 Gun? Looking to get into it this summer.
  6. Why do you recommend that? They are going to do what any other smith will do, which is to fit the barrel to the gun.
  7. Just traded for this gun locally and want to source a barrel in a different caliber. Gun is currently in 38super. What would be required? Barrel And then to smith for fitting? or Do I need another bushing which would need to be fit to the slide and subsequent new barrel?
  8. I know i can buy it new, and I plan to for my match ammo. However I would love a cheap/free source of once fired brass to train with.
  9. How are you guys getting so much brass, just picking it up after matches? I am new to 38 Super, so looking for all the information and cheap brass I can get my hands on.
  10. What makes you say this? Brass is hard to come by, as well just not as plentiful as 9mm.

  12. I have my eye on the DAA Rangepack pro plus cart. As well as some of the GPS and G Sport options. Was wondering if anyone could share what they run?
  13. They also sell some premade ones if you wanted to go that route. https://www.ammobrass.com/product-page/ammobrass-swage-setter
  14. I am welll process my brass, Doing this in 2 steps helps to smooth the loading operation.
  15. I am going to have to try this. Thanks for sharing the info.
  16. Also check at what slant in degrees your MBF is to ensure proper operation.
  17. They sell a bucket plate that can do it, but I believe I am going to fast in my range sorting.
  18. I purchased used. - Bullet Topple Sensor - Decapping Sensor - Low Primer Sensor
  19. Appreciate the response. I actually plan to load in 2 steps, or at least I did on the Forcht. Sizing/Depriming with Lee U die and Swage Hold Down in station 2, brass has been washed once, and I have stared to lube since using the Lee U die. Then primer powder/expand with MBF funnel and finally seat with Redding micrometer and Lee FCD to finish. Thats for 9mm. I plan to do x39, grendel, blkout, 223 eventually. Excited to learn the new machine and hope my Forcht experience with cross over. That machine had no sensors or checks involved.
  20. im trying to avoid sorting by hand. I have the 5 gallon bucket sorters but they were only ok at filtering it out.
  21. What should I know going in. Overall its s a smarter machine. Anything I should do out of the box. For example on my forcht I immeidately purchased the upgrades index pawls.
