Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. So once I went to California and tried to take ammo with me. I was stopped in the airport and did not know how to transport the ammo. Since then I have mailed it or drove. Will the Dillion blue plastic boxes work? Thanks
  2. So I was able to snag one of the spots for the revolver nationals this year. Do not have a race gun and I may do production. Anyway..... I have been to Vegas several times. Does anyone know how far this is from the match hotel (The Range)? If there is anyone going and will have a car and would like to supplement with the gas money let me know. I plan on renting one, and may still, but thought that it wouldn't hurt to ask. How far is the hotel from the strip? What is the casino like? What is the prize table like? Who's going?
  3. So here is the reason that I ask. I am a revolver guy. I have a couple of nice ICORE guns and a 625. I do well with those. I have been at this game for about three years and am quickly becoming a gamer. I know that 38 super brass is high dollar and you leave a lot of it on the ground. 9m is everywhere. If I get a 9mm major for a open gun it seems it would be cheaper to reload and a little easier to find components. I was wondering if I could knock these out with my 650 with my standard 9mm stuff. I hear a lot of the hard core guys say stay away from the 9mm major. I know their are opinions, but I fail to see why I would HAVE to do a 38 super. To keep this round of fun going, what do you guys think about the good comparisons of these two loads for USPSA. With a 9mm it seems I could do it cheaper and get the same effects.
  4. So what is the difference in the two calibers? I am sure that this has been posted. I guess what I am wondering what is the difference in case length if any? The length difference between the two cartridges? If there are any difference in the barrels. I know not the bore itself but the inside of the barrel where the bullet loads. Thanks
