  1. There are some out there. Guy here in forum makes some for idpa. Another guy in the Midwest makes some. I’ll see if I can find their contact info.
  2. I wipe them off with a rag, when I demoon them. Crazy right.
  3. Is that even legal in CA? Guns in glove box?
  4. The closest ICORE is the one up in Philly, until they did that one in Hampton Roads. I was going to start an ICORe shoot at Fairfax Rod and Gun, but decided they’re wouldn’t be much interest. I shoot revolver in idpa and uspsa.
  5. Stationary drills I do. 1. The Accelerator, 20, 10, 5 target distance I normally do. 2 rounds reload and run it again. 2. Draw 3 rounds, reload, 3 rounds. Set a par time. 3. Dot drill, edited it some to fit a revolver.
  6. Don’t have access to a mill, but do have a portable band saw. I was going to buy the Manson Muzzle Crown Refacing Tool kit.
  7. Has anyone just cut the nipple off with a hacksaw, filed flat and cut back in the crown? I can’t see it being that difficult, especially if you buy the Manson reamers.
  8. Yeah they’re awesome, saw some back in September. Eli doing amazing work.
  9. How do you check the barrel angle? Feeler gauges? Or do you remove the barrel?
  10. The whole match isn’t indoors, but they have no light indoor stages. Virginia Indoor Regionals are half light and half no light, but that’s all indoors. Live Free or Die had to 2 no light stages and they were difficult. Virginia state had 3 no light stages. Liberty had 2 no light stages. Castle Pistol Classic had some no light stages. There was some more, can’t recall.
  11. Quite a few tier 4,3,2 matches here on the east coast run no light/ low light stages. At least two stages anyway.
  12. Oh I would have walked off right there. No reason to be there at that point.
  13. The optics of it isn’t good.
  14. I was there. I actually liked the stages, they weren’t too gimmicky, had decent movers. I thought the SO’s were polite and articulate. Two stages thrown out during the staff shoots, so down to 16 from 18. They pushed us on Friday to shoot ten stages, leaving only six Saturday morning, done by 1045-11. Lunch wasn’t being delivered until 12-1, wasn’t waiting around for that. The range would shuttle people if they wanted, but not necessary. First day, second bay, we had to wait around a-little over an hour for the super squad to finish, wasn’t to happy that. Only negative stuff I heard was the JJ thing and Coley thing. Coley got a PE in which he shouldn’t have and they didn’t remove it.
  15. They only loaded everyone on one stage and the SO actually asked if we wanted to do it. It doesn’t save time and kinda throws off the shooter a bit. They were concerned about time, but then made shoot 10 stages on day 1 and 6 stages on day 2.
  16. So what I heard out there. Was that they all loaded on the line, then went back up range. Couldn’t leave the stage boundary, she was messing with her gun in the holster for whatever reason. Gun went off and shot her foot.
  17. I do want to say, that all the SOs that I interacted with were awesome. I have no complaints about them.
  18. Exactly and apparently video, which in the rule book is prohibited.
  19. I think the foot shooter was a different stage, they loaded everyone at the same time. Everyone knew not to sweep themselves it was put out during the stage brief.
  20. One bay had two similar stages, but different reload points. One person applied their stage plan from one stage to the other and completely screwed his reloads.
