I’ve known a few folks buy that 686PC just for the release and put it in their 686 SSR.

I think that depends on what and who is doing the measuring. If they are measuring say on a wooden table, using a wooden ruler, it probably would pass. But if it’s on a hard flat surface and using a piece of metal to slide across, I don’t think it would.

I got the same thing for CCP. Chubby cheetah has the metal boxes. Problem with the slide releases they are hollow.

Arms relaxed at sides is just as repeatable as your arms sticking straight out to the sides.

Yeah hands forward touching marks done that, I’m talking about out to the sides. How idpa checks your cover garment.

Been a lot easier if they would have just kept the holster rule with simply. “Must be completely concealed in the start position.” Start position is hands relaxed at sides. I’ve never started any stage with my arms and hands sticking out parallel to the ground. Just like the gun rules. Size and weight is established. Why care what has been done to the gun as long as it meets size and weight and all safeties functions. If you add brass and tungsten, what does it matter as long as it makes weight. Set the criteria and leave it alone.

My point exactly at 125 a ported barrel does nothing, you need to be major PF to get anything.
