  1. I ended up switching to the SV ones and love them.
  2. Loaded about 3k rounds after getting a load worked up for my Tanfo Stock 2 and CZ A01LD. 3.2GN, 1.130 OAL, BMB 147s, ginex spp. Right at 130PF for the stock 2 so probably about 132-135pf in the A01LD. Shoots soft, flat, almost no smoke at all. Does seem to leave a slight bit more gunk in the gun then ramshot comp but that could also be me just not cleaning guns a whole lot. It meters damn well too. I have to say as much as I love ramshot comp I may continue to use this. It is harder to find it seems though.
  3. No issues with my MA dies. Just swapped to them recently to try out and other then some junk cbc brass which I always have issues with its been great.
  4. Well damn. I got a LOT more work to do then I thought.
  5. @rowdyb just to clarify this. People can do that El prez like setup in 2.50sec? Because if that's true I suck a LOT more then I thought. My transition at 2 targets 5ft apart currently is about .35sec, splits about .18sec, draw 1.35sec. Bill drill is consistent at 2.10 all alphas.
  6. I've made this argument multiple times to NRIO, ADs, Past presidents and it always came back as it's not possible. Usually it's along the lines of it's unfair to force a club to buy a certain popper or we can't force them to buy from xyz company. My reply to that is simple. USPSA has a set of requirements for cardboard targets, and metal target shapes. Add how the popper functions to that requirement and the company's who make them will either follow it or loose the buisness. Some clubs are just simply lazy when it comes to steel targets in general. I have seen plenty of poppers that are so bent over that shrapnel is going to come back at the shooters no matter where they shoot it. Staff should be the ONLY ones resetting any moving target. Sure you can spray paint the spots the stick goes, and explain/show everyone durrijg the WSB. But we all know most of the shooters are not paying attention to that at the time. They are going over stage plans, chatting, ect... so it's a pointless endeavor. Just have the ROs reset movers and steel.

    TS2 trigger reset?

Was checking out another rshooters TS2 today at the match and the trigger reset is extremely light and slow. Is there a way to make it better? I'd like to get a TS2 but not if the trigger reset can't be better.
  8. They do if you have 8-11 months to wait around for it. Or you can but these from FSG and they will be at your door in less then a week. And take about 1min to install. I went one step further and ordered some small magnets and a drill bit the side of the magnet OD (5MM) and counter sunk the magnets in the holster body and the cam lock handle. So now I have a holster I waited about 20 days for (RHT) with a cam lock that when unlocked is held in place with magnets. Ohh and with doing it this way you can get the cam adjusted with innhalf a turn of how you want the tension with it unlocked. Well honestly you have about 3/4 of turn radius to adjust with. Then mark the spot on the holster body amd lever, drill it just a little, I went down enough to have the magnet stick up just slightly on each. And boom you all good. Thank you very much FSG! I and the girlfriend are very pleased with these.
  9. Well I was looking for a holster in my gun room tonight and wouldn't you know it I found 2 cases of Federal small rifle primers. How hard are they? I've been using ginex small pistol primers for the last year and half in my tanfo stock 2, A01LD, and 2011s with out issue.
  10. I love ramshot competition and shooters world clean shot for 9 minor. Clean shot is less smoke but oddly a little dirty in the gun, I get little granuals with it but no issue with gun working. For 9 major all I've used is winchester autocomp. Works great for my open guns. I will hopefully never have to dip into my stash of titegroup again. Dirty, smokey, and meters like crap.
  11. Precision Delta match packs were my go to for a long time. Also used a lot of NC Shooters ammo. I still do if I'm shooting 40 major. Also used Federal syntech a bunch and know a few fellow shooters who use it exclusively. Black Dot ammo is also good to go. Used some of it and know a couple shooters who use it. Atlanta Arms is great ammo, but expensive AF. Everglades also makes ammo, havent shot any of their minor loads but their 9 major is good. I didn't have good luck with fenix.

    A01 recoil spring

Anyone know what recoil spring works in the A01. Also anyone known what the factory recoil spring weight is?
  13. Only place i know will 100% throat a coated barrel lime the canik or CZ DLC/Black Nitride barrels in Patriot Defense. They just got their custom reamer back so I'll be shipping mine off to them soon. As for using different bullets, running them shorter ect... I am far far to lazy and cheap to have multiple 9 minor loads. I load what works in my main gun, an A01LD with a throated chamber. It's amazing how loading a little longer solves a lot of feeding issues.
  14. I don't know if Tim's still doing them but man it is sweet! I finally got my A01LD back from my gunsmith who serrated the right side of the frame, then I failed hard at putting it back together, and back from CZC after the got it put back together. This trigger is the ticket.
  15. Man fitting a cone comp to a bull barrel is gonna be an interesting deal. I know Dan at D2 Customs uses cone comps a lot and when I asked him about adding one to a bull barrel he advised against it due to the barrel "springing" I belive. I'd have to read back through text messages to be sure that was the reason. But I know he said it would be better to just install a bushing barrel fpr the cone comp.
  16. Excellent! I think I'll be getting one or 2 for my RHT holsters. Thank you!
  17. Yep. Giant waste of money. Mines already at the dump. The only two lefty friendly race holster I've found are the DAA alpha x and everglades mrh.
  18. If the match flow is really on point I don't mind doing 12/13 in one day. If the match flow is the usual not fast but not super slow i like 8/10 in a day. If shooting starts at 9 I'd like to be off the range and walking to the car by 5pm. Especially if it's hot and humid out. I shot I think it was Indiana sectional 2 years ago amd it was 12 stages in one day. I swear it was 100* out and 100% humidity. After about 8 stages I pretty much stopped caring about anything but not passing out. And I drink a LOT of water. Sadly the match had some really cool stages I didn't fully enjoy due to weather. But that's how the cookie crumbles as they say.
  19. Try that barrel amd slide on another frame.
  20. Yeah I can't imagine running a 13lb recoil spring. I'm using a 8pb hybrid spring from Patriot Defense and it's working wonderful. As for mags.... I ended up having a couple issues and just said screw it and bought 6 MBX mags. Also changed OAL to 1.130 and all has been well and good.
  21. Well sort of. I sent the whole gun to CZC. Then had them build be an exact copy. Lol.
