  1. For the last week all I hear about on the news is how the Government needs to do something about all the homes going into forclosure and relief for americans with credit card debit. WTF is going on? Why does the government need to step in because YOU bought a house you could not afford? Did someone hold a gun to your head and make you use those credit cards? I don't think so. When will people ever start taking responsibility for the things they do and quit expecting someone else to fix their mistakes? Maybe this should have been one of the old Friday flames we used to have.
  2. Now, that's some funny stuff. Great way to start Friday off
  3. I picked up a Kadet unit for my CZ and it has run anything I have put in it. If I could find some ammo that was 100% I'd be in business. I ran 1K through it last month( a 550 federal box, 200 mini mags, and any other plated I found on the shelf) Everything feed and extracted great. I just ran into some that would not go bang. I'm going to put a 15lb mainspring in this month to try.
  4. Put a dot on your limited gun and run major factory .40 in it. You only give up a few rounds and still have the fun and learning of the dot right there. It'll be a lot cheaper and you will make major. It should be fine for local matches and pin shoots.
  5. Movie maker is fine, but I also like to use Adobe Elements. Just as easy to use and not as expensive as some others are.
  6. Funny, my wife asked me one day if she would be surprised at the number of guns she found if something were to ever happen to me. With a straight face I said no, you will not be surprised.....shocked as hell maybe, but not surprised.
  7. Chris, You need to stay away from those bad influences
  8. eerw, Hey, thanks for those links. I'd always been to afraid to take mine down that far without pics.
  9. Aspen Times Article I guess I have a label now.
  10. No, only the 9 rounders will fit the box. I emailed them that question last week.
  11. HSmith will be getting mine(wife and 3 kids) can't wait.
  12. When I resize my pictures I'll post them. I took pictures from a bunch of different angles so I could do the same thing.
  13. This is what I mean. This was my interpretation of the stage. When I asked the question to the RO's they didn't understand my question and that's where the problem was. As long as you were completely in each box for at least 1 shot you were fine.
  14. Big Guy, I knew going into it that there would be some tough shots, me not being prepared is nothing to complain to the match organizers about. But, they could make the steel much bigger next year
  15. Like Boo, I didn't mind the all day format. I even resisted and tried to NOT like the new format. In the end though I really like the half day and would not go back if they change back to the old format. I like the change to the prize table also. There was never a chance to look over the table ahead of time or even when it was your turn. The first year I went you could pick something, but after that they started hearding you through and threw a bag of stuff your way. Broken binoculars, winchester primers in the old white boxes, SPS mag springs, etc. Stuff most people did not need. Giving guns to those that place is great. Keep the targets and everything else the way it is. I sign up knowing that there will be long tight shots, if you don't want to shoot that type of match....don't. I thought the stages were great. The problem with the GA/AL stage was not design, but RO understanding of what was being asked. Neither side completely understood the other, but everything was fine in the end.

    9mm Brass

There are a lot of people with different ideas on this, but in my gun I have been able to run any brass without problems. That is from once fired winchester to remington +p nickle to the range brass my son picks up after the matches are over. I have not had any brass related issues with my set-up. I even run them all mixed up in the same mag because the reason I went 9mm major was to not have to be picky about my brass.
  17. Thanks Matt, I wasn't sure if there were places that they tend to stick or not. I've swapped out several triggers and never had that problem.
  18. I just put an SV trigger bow in my Trojan and while dry firing the gun the trigger sometime sticks in the frame. What can I do to fix this?
  19. Hey, I use to live in that town. Nothing surprises me in that area.
  20. Paid a price, Yeah that's an understatement. I didn't think 2 inch plates at 100 yards (that's how it looked to me) was a very nice way to treat your guests. The match did run very smooth no down time for my squad.
  21. Black bags, heck they were in body bags already and didn't need shot Just kidding. I've never seen that either.
  22. No gun for you!!!!!! I heard you had lots of fun shooting at the poppers and plates. Man, that's not funny. I want to appologize to anyone that may have witnessed my performance, or lack of on the Illinois stage. I understand it may have caused a few injuries from laughing your @sses off. If you thought it was ugly from the peanut gallery, you should have been behind the gun. But, on the bright side, XDNiner did NOT get it on video tape. I don't think I've ever done three reloads on one stage with an open gun EVER and I hope I never do again. It felt like I was shooting L-10 with all those mags laying on the ground.
