  1. I finally got tired of waiting for one company to have some 9mm 125JHP so I ordered 25K from Montana Gold on Monday afternoon and they were delivered today before noon. Less than 48 hours from ordering to delivery.
  2. Thanks, I'm not sure I'll make it before you stop shooting on Tuesday, but I can leave my workshop early to make the Gwinnett Wednesday night match. I'm still going to try for Tuesday though.
  3. He is a good guy most of the time Just kidding. Hey VRMN1 are there any matches/fun shoots on November 13th through the 16th up your way?
  4. I'm glad I got my order in before the price increase.
  5. Kenny at SSS had them the last time I checked.
  6. Z, are you replying to emails to let us know you recieved the order?
  7. That's why I do it when I can remember my camera. Otherwise I might remember the round count, but forget how the stage was set-up. Only about 5 of the local 60 shooters from my club attend major matches, so I like to bring a stage home when I can for them to shoot.
  8. +1 I was going to say the exact same thing... Hell, my wife doesn't like the one I have now. I don't think a new one will make for a Merry Christmas. Just kidding...........she likes my girlfriend just fine
  9. Well, at least you can post what your first words were That was not right Nemo, very wrong.
  10. Thanks Nemo. SSW, Thanks and if all the money were coming from my pocket I might consider that. A large chunk of the money is coming from the STI contengency program, so I'm dancing with the one that brought me. I want something to play SS and CDP with so that's why I'm going with a 45.
  11. Thanks Chris, I always seem to over things like that. The cool factor is nice, but I'd like some money left over also. I have a Trojan in .40 and I think it needs a sister in .45 since I don't own a SS 45 and have been told everyone should have at least one.
  12. I kind of had that thought in mind, but the last memento gun I bought I could not resist and shot the crap out of it. So, it would be a working gun, not a look at me in the safe gun.
  13. Anybody seen/shot one? Is there any reason to pick that one over say a Trojan and fix it the way you want it? Thanks
  14. Results Here they are. This was a great match. Thanks to everyone that worked hard to put the match together. It was by far the best IDPA match I have been to. It was also the toughest match I think I have shot. Those movers were turbo charged on some stages. Congratulations to all the winners you earned it.
  15. I'm going. I just chamber ckecked the last of my rounds and packed my bag.
  16. Forget the big girl pants, I just wish some people would take the diapers off and put on some grown up pants and have a discussion and not throw insults everywhere. I was not there to see it in person, but just wondered about the stage. Thanks for those grown up replys and everybody else get a life. I shoot anything I can locally with a handgun and try not to put anyone or any game down. Please do the same.
  17. I got it figured out without cutting anything. Thanks for the help and sugestions. If it works 98 times out of 100 for this game I'm happy with it. YMMV
  18. I understand the idea, but why not use a common plate that you also score to activate the targets. do we now need to start practicing shooting the 2inch side of 2X4's at ten yards as a practice drill? I believe the rule book says not to use the everybody had to do it reason to justify something.
  19. I still can't accept having to shoot at something that is not a scoring target. That does not seem like something for a Nationals sized match to me.
  20. Very interesting stage. I'm just curious how we can make a shooter shoot a non scored prop to activate the shoot targets? Both safely and within the rules? That seems to be like a club that had us stab a paper target with a knife before drawing the gun(I'm fine with that part) but, they scored the knife stab as down zero, down 1 or down 3 WTF this is a gun fight not a knife fight. The rules are hazy about the shape of a steel target and about requiring hits on non scored targets. Just wondering about this.
  21. Man, I'd like to but driving to Frost proof is like one of those episodes of twilight zone.
  22. OK, so I'm watching some of the youtube videos from the nationals and see this stage where you shoot two targets then go prone and shoot the steel bar holding two targets up that then flop down and are then visible. What's the deal there and does anyone have anymore pic/video of that stage?
  23. Yeah, I've forgotten to put the pin back in twice. Having to try and find 100 primers on the floor is hell.
