  1. You had me nervous for a second, and I had to read it again, I thought maybe you were saying it is a comercial sized tube. Yes, thanks, I do know the difference, and didnt have to learn the hard way! I definitely appreciate the heads up! lol.
  2. I guess I need something like this This vltor tube ????
  3. Does anyone make an adjustable length stock for an A5 type tube, or are they all fixed length? I like the idea of being able to collapse the stock some for storage and transport.
  4. I am really looking hard at using the longer type tube, because I often feel like many of them are just too short to get comfortable. I am always double checking to see if the stock is pulled all the way out. Plus having all that extra room on the inside to fine tune the buffer set up is definitely a nice bonus.
  5. Either way, I thought it would be cool to have a matching set with sequential serial numbers. LOL
  6. I have most everything to build the 1st one sitting here. Just need to find the time. Its my busy season at work. I don't know what I am going to do with the 2nd one yet, maybe an ULW type build? Or super low budget build so I can have a 2nd rifle sooner.
  7. I wanted the Kronos because they are a local manufacturer, and have heard nothing but super high praise for these. Zero feeding issues for any ammo. My number one goal was to have it run flawless with zero issues. So between these receivers and the Rainier Arms barrel, it should be good to go.
  8. I finally picked them up today !! It's been a long wait due to a whole long list of unfortunate circumstances. I always seem to do this to myself. (Just a touch too far ahead of the curve) LOL
  9. Finally got them back from cerakoting Machining the mag bars tomorrow or the next day. Should have them by the the end of the week. Then it will be "let the building begin"!
  10. Blitzkrieg says that either a 308 or 223 spring my be used, and that the customer will need to decidewhat works best
  11. You are right about that, I guess you would probably want a small piece of rail mounted to the handguard first anyway.
  12. This is a very interesting idea. I guess it would mostly depend on how soild your handguard mounting is.
  13. I noticed that gen 1 thing also. So I didn't even bother to look at it any farther.
  14. The Rex riser arrived yesterday. So I am running out of things to buy, in preparation. I guess I may have to resort to just laying parts out on the table, to keep me busy.
  15. Was that with a 308 spring, or a lighter one?
  16. So the cerakote guy has had a couple of hang ups, but they should be done middle of next week. It has been a long series of unfortunate (for me) events, making this way longer than it should be. However I understand that real life isn't always what you want. These guys are making a good product, and will have all this straightened out for the next guy LOL I don't mind the extra wait time, to keep my money local, and be able to deal face to face with the manufacturer. It will all be good at the end
  17. I remembered Rainier Arms was have a free shipping sale this weekend so I ordered the Rex riser. Sometimes all those small cheap items aren't so cheap by the time you start adding up shipping and sales tax.
