  1. It's all good, lots of guys use those, you're spot on. I think my buddy just got tired of packing and unpacking his, so he went to the DAA Bag. Bummer too, we had a personal caddie .
  2. That's a nice bag. I think one of my buddies uses those. He also had this converted Jogging Stroller and we all would pile our stuff on it, and he had to push it...hahahaa.... But, he has since ditched that, because of space (or maybe it was us, lol) and collapsing/folding it to fit into the car. Pushcarts work great though. I saw a guy a month ago dragging the lid to those luggage compartments, that you attach to the top of your car. He had the lid off and upside, filled with gear and pulling it with a rope. Dragging it over the gravel/ground. To each his own.
  3. Yep, same here. I used to bring the BIG bag and also a small cooler also (food, drinks, etc..) Said screw that. Went smaller and kept the big bag in the truck too. Whenever I finish a stage, I always unload my belt of mags and now I can just slip all 4 mags on the outside pockets.
  4. Nah, not for me. Pulling left and down much?
  5. Use whatever works Does anyone bench rest their guns to check for accuracy? I do. Just like when reloading for my AR15 at 100 yards. Best powder, bullet and OAL. I get the best load worked for MY RIFLE/GUN, that's what I use. That's with bench resting. Even my Czechmate I bench rest at 10 yards, just to check bullet, powder and powder amount. Whatever works best, that's what I am using. My gun is different than my Glock 357 Sig open gun I used to shoot. Both have favorite loads. Use whatever works, plated, FMJ, JHP, lead, slugs, CMJ, whatever works, that's what my gun is going to shoot in Competition. Now if you are backyard shooting and don't care about accuracy, then make a choice. Not all Barrels are made the same. Get 100 rounds and test. Get the powder that works. Buy the primers that work. Get the brass that works. Get the bullet that works. Do the work and figure it out, good grief,
  6. https://www.hawkeoptics.com/chairgun-and-x-act-end-of-life.html Hawke Chairgun Win/Apple App/Android. 20 yards. 135gr 1275 fps 1" Scope Height 1/2" Drop at 10 yards 1/2" Drop at 50 yards. Zero at 20 yards. Tested and proven at the Range. You guys really need to start using the Chair Gun App, take the guessing out of the equation.
  7. Stock 140/170 Czechmate Mags. CZC mag bases and Stock Springs and Stock Followers also. 23 rounds in the 140's 28 rounds in the 170 No issues, ever @ 5,000 rounds.
  8. Thanks, good illustration. Works for me.
  9. I wonder if they are backlogged because of the 115 and/or the 124's popularity? I use the 135 RNFP, maybe those are always in stock? I think if they ever go under, I'll have to lengthen the Leade (Czechmate) and try Everglades 124 JHP.
  10. Well, there's your problem right there, Einstein.
  11. Nice. I was about to do the same, but just bought the Cheely Side Mount for my Cmore. How important is the red dot in relation to the center bore? If the CMore is off the center line of the Barrel by 1/8". Would that cause an offset left/right at a longer distance?
  12. Sorry to hear. I just placed an order for 1,000 135 RNFP on Friday and just came in today, Tuesday. If you are getting bullets to tumble, could be over crimped. I always check a loaded dummy round and making sure I don't over crimp and put a crease on the plating.
  13. The 510C is hugely. I saw a guy that had one on an Open Gun and it looked good, but he removed the cover. When are they going to start making RMR with the Round Cmore Glass? But half the length of the regular Cmore.
  14. Been to only about 20 USPSA Matches in the last year or so. I have this Midway Range Bag I use for tools, ammo, gun bag, reloader, etc..... Has worked great. Some Matches the Stages are farther apart and it gets a bit heavy after a while. We used to bring a cart, but it just became a hassle, so we all just brought smaller bags and carry less. What ever works for you, that's great. Make a choice. This is just about my experience and maybe it might help someone along the way. Yes, I know you have stories of you transporting gear, which I am sure is far better and more awesome. Use what works. So if I am close enough to the truck I'll leave the bigger bag behind and bring the smaller bag, a simple Craftsman Tool Bag that I had laying around. It works ok, kinda of small for the Gun Bag, but much lighter and I only carry the essentials. Getting a bit worn out and wanted to upgrade. Plus I had all my loaded mags in the bag shifting around, during our hike, up and down hills. So I was at Home Depot and found this bag. It's by Husky and was only $12.99. I run a Czechmate and look how the small pockets are holding the Loaded Mags. Perfect fit and tight. Here's the back side. Exactly what I run, three of the 140's and one 170 mag. It has 2 pockets on both sides and 5 pockets each, front/back. Inside there are no pockets, but I am thinking of making a zipper pocket and sewing it to the inside. For keys, Snickers, Swisher Sweets, etc.... On the inside I only bring along what I need and if something goes wrong, I can just make a trip to the truck and get out the bigger bag. But this Husky Bag is taller inside so the Gun Bag stands upright with plenty of room. Here's the essentials I bring along. Gun Bag, Tool Case, 200 rounds (Berry's 9mm Cases), I always load my mags in the morning, before a Match. The 4 mags will hold 97 plus the 200, that's 297 total. Depending on the Match, I bring less or more. Then at the last stage I have full mags. I bring at least 120 extra 9mm over the Match Round Total. Uplula, Walker Razor and Gloves for setting Poppers up and tearing down stages at the end of the day. What I like the most is, the Pockets on the front and back that hold the Mags, awesome and tight. At first it's very tight, but over night, those pockets form to the mags. I might get USPSA (Name and City, State) embroidered on the back and a Patch of some kind to cover the Husky Logo, later on. Now I can leave the bigger bag behind and carry this lighter Husky bag. I always unload my Pouches after I shot a stage and put them in the pockets. I RO and keep time, so I don't care for my mags on the belt. When I'm on Deck, then I grab the mags from the bag.
  15. If it rains during our Matches, there's a Limited A shooter that uses a 1 qt zip lock bag and covers the whole gun and holster.
  16. I actually went with the Khwansik Kim style. Strong Front to Back and slight side to side palm grip. Also, went back to the stock CM Spring, then settled on the 135gr RNFP. It's working great now.
  17. Love my CM too. I chased Springs for a long time 8-11# and gave up and went back to Stock. Shoots way better than the lighter recoil springs, snaps right back to where it started and stops, go figure.
  18. Had mine for 5 months and a few matches. I'm new to USPSA and have about 10 Matches with this CM. I chased, bullet, powder and primers, for my gun it was finally settled with, Xtreme 135 RNFP with 6.4 Silhouette and Fed Small Pistol Magnum Primers. Misc. brass. I tried many different recoil springs. 8# gun was jumping too much for me. Went to 9, 10 and 11# spring. Finally just went back to the Stock Spring (I think it's a 13# Recoil Spring) gun flattened right out, go figure. Some CM owners lengthen the Leade to load longer, but there are choices out there to load 1.160 - 1.130 that work. I use a front to back grip and light in the palm area. Gun drops right back to where it started, every time. In Matches my buddies are reporting the shots only need one paster to cover both holes. I also use the Cmore and a Cheely 90 degree mount, and zero at 20 yards. Mine you this load I am using, is one ragged hole at 20 yards and what works for this gun, your mileage may vary. Good luck and congrats. Try stock first and let us know how it goes, write a report. Cheers.
  19. Open shooter and the holster aligns on the hip and first pouch over zipper. Inner belt should be tight (or you will be tugging on your pants all day). Overlap in the back and the small Double Alpha strap to capture the inner and outer belt at the back. Hard has h*ll to get that little sucker on.
  20. Yep, good to go. 1 hour in Corn Cob Media works for me.
  21. Sweet! Thanks Kujo. Really like what you going on there, dust cover looks fine too, bet it's a keeper.
