  1. David on his YouTube channel ( The Humble Markman ) stated that some people put grease on the spring to help with its longevity.
  2. Open end towards the muzzle.
  3. I recently installed a Galloway Precision trigger bar spring on my X5 Legion. It definitely improved the trigger reset function. But I did not feel any noticeable increase in trigger pull weight.
  4. But have you seen a increase in accuracy? Does the gun shoot flat with the heavier spring?
  5. I've been using Fed. standard small rifle primers for my 9mm minor load , no problem. Also there's a You Tube video by Atlas gun works thoroughly explaining the use of various primers for use in pistol ammo.
  6. By that do you mean a large or small difference in accuracy?
  7. I've been using the Range Panda adaptor which allows you to use the very large Sharpie Magnum marker. Marks one wide single stripe. I am not affiliated with Range Panda.
  8. Gentlemen, thanks again for the replies.
  9. Yes. It goes bang as much as it can when it's dry fired.
  10. Gentlemen Thank you very much! To tell you the truth I was really beginning to be concerned about this. I hated the idea of sending it back to Sig because of the mods I had installed. Because of that I had considered sending it to The Sig Armorer but I really didn't want to do that either..
  11. I was dry firing my X5 Legion last night when I noticed that when the gun was cocked and in battery the slide could be moved back a 1/4" or so easily. When the gun was fired (dry) the slide was firm. I don't know if this has always been the case and I just noticed it last night. I tried different recoil spring weights, 11, 12.5 and 14 with the same results. I have installed a Armor Craft adjustable trigger with minimal pre travel and over travel. I have read that the Legion does not lock up as firmly as the standard X5. Is this normal?
  12. I recently placed two seperate orders for a box of 500 bullets. Each order arrived within 3 to 4 days.
  13. So far I've only installed the TTI +2 on a 21 round mag with a Grams 11 coil spring and their follower. Got the mag to 23 rounds and it worked well. I haven't tried the Springer base pad yet but I think I may prefer the push pin attachment method of the TTI rather than the screw in method of the Springer.
  14. I have ordered the 21 round Sig mags and the +2 TTI bases, the Springer +2 bases, the Grams 11 coil spring with follower and the TTI +5 for the 17 round mags. Thanks to everyone for the help. I got a TON of info from this website and the forums. Hell I even ordered a mag gauge. This is a great place to be.
  15. Excellent video. Must have miss that one somehow. Thanks for all the replies! Should be all set now.
  16. Oops! My mistake. I thought you were referring to the single stack mags. Thanks for the offer. I just might take that offer if I need to adjust the the Sig mags. Thank You
  17. Thank you! I should have made myself much clearer. The single stacks are a RO and Colt. Great website.
  18. Thank you. I'm new to USPSA. Just getting my feet wet this year. I have 2 9mm single stacks. Getting tired of that real quick. I want to shoot not reload.
  19. Gentlemen, thank you very much for the extremely quick replies!
  20. I apologize if this question is redundant but will a P320 20 or 21 round mag fit in a Legion X5? Or do I just go with the TTI 5 round extension?
  21. Just got a reply from Shockbottle. Man do they have quick excellent service! Bare gauge is tight. Anodized gauge slightly looser. Who would have thought that. Case closed. Thanks for the replies.
  22. Called Dawson Precision. The gentleman stated that if the gauge is a "super" unit it will be marked as such. Also he stated the anodized gauges are slightly looser due to the anodizing process. Waiting on email from Shockbottle concerning this statement.
  23. Yeah, I checked that out. But it is the full retail price.
  24. Also I just learned that this gauge is available as a "match" or "super match" grade. My unit is bare aluminum. Is this the super match unit? So is the anodized unit just the match grade? I did sent them a email for clarification.
