Just placed a order for "Accuracy Oil" for the heck of it. Small amount small price. Actually saw a popular You Tube guy just today
slightly praising this stuff. I know this could be just another snake oil product on the market but what the heck. Any one have any experience with this stuff?
Just ran into this situation myself recently. Was brought to my attention by a friend.
At first I asked him what the heck are you talking about?
Never saw a 9mm case like that. Well I spoke too soon. Shorty after that I picked up a bunch of
range brass and look what I got. I throw them in the scrap bucket.
I ordered 3 Toni recoil springs for my CZ P10F from this company.
Actually had specific recoil springs for this gun.
I did pay for premium shipping ( expensive).
Ordered on 9/20/22. Received on 9/26/22.
Faster service than many domestic companies.
Gentlemen, thank you very much for the replies. A few points. First I didn't even know the barrel came in 1:18 twist.
Second I use range brass. I'd love to use only Starline brass but you know how that goes. The same for Hornady XTPs and HAPs.
I have two uppers so I'll try the barrel in each. I will continue to plod along and see what I can do.
My KKM barrel is 1 in 16 twist I believe. I did not run any Win. WB ammo through it before shooting my hand loads.
I'm going to bump my charge to 4.2/4.3 SP and see how that performs. Of course it may be moot because of the slide fit situation.
Have the CZ Shadow2. Send it to CGW for the complete accuracy job. Gun shoots very well and consistently without any drama.
But I do love the "soft" shooting and single pull of the Legion which has been worked over by "The Sig Armorer". But may go with the CZ for the consistent accuracy and reliability.
Interesting. Just yesterday I took the Legion out for the first session with the new KKM barrel.
Shooting PD 125 JHP V1, 4.1 SP @ 1.115 - 1.120
First group (25 yards) decent nothing special.
Second group opened right up. Third group shot 7 into one ragged hole with 3 just slightly out!
Fourth group complete S--T. Blew my mind. Couldn't figure out for the life of me what the hell was going on.
I think I may have my answer now.
Yeah, their website is pretty crummy. If you Google Ghost Holsters Direct some websites will come with the
description of their holsters being lined with " Ledrn " which is a artificial leather. It's there but you have to hunt for it.
Also Google Ghost holsters with lining.
I spray painted (can) mine black. Sure the coating will wear off rather quickly especially the high spots
but I don't care. It's quick, inexpensive and easy to reapply. And it takes off the majority of the bling appearance.
Here's what I think. You buy just the striker spring which is for a standard P 320. You can get one from Midwest Gun Works(?).
That's what I did. You install it in your Legion X 5 striker assembly. The P 320 spring is slightly longer and stiffer. Now I obviously
don't guarantee this will solve your problem but I did it for the extra oomph.
It I remember correctly I did replace my Legion X 5 striker spring with a standard P320 spring. The P320 spring was slightly longer
and stiffer. At one time I tried using Wolf small rifle magnum primers and had several no fires. So I tried the P320 spring. Can't tell you what happened as it was several years ago and I believe I may have stopped using the Wolf primers after that. But I'm pretty sure there is a slight difference.
I highly recommend the Lyman Cyclone brass dryer. It has five trays, is compact, has a timer, and works very well.
I dried 1000 ( 10 lbs.) of 9mm cases in about 1 1/2 hours.
