I generally load till the primers run dry. So no primers or brass in the 650. I return the remaining powder to the original container when I have long periods in-between loading. If it's only a few days, I'll leave the powder in and just weigh the charges as I always do at the beginning of a loading session.

I've never once counted my shots , 1..2 ..3 ..4...etc, during the COF(aside from a stage that dictates X rounds fired into target Y,). I plan how I will shoot the targets and where I will do my reloads to avoid a standing reload.

Also I wanted to ask, are there any basepads that cause the S2 to NOT fit in the box(Not that it really matters at the moment)? I'm looking at the springers, which seem like the most popular option, but will they still fit the box? The shokbottles, at least from pictures it looks like they leave a gap between the pad and the bottom of the grip. I'd be worried this might allow me to over-insert a mag? I also checked out the CZC pads, nobody seems to use these but they look nice.

Thanks. How often do you change the springs? I used 11lbs in my glock and would only change them every 5000 or so rounds. I also see references to slide stops cracking, how often do you change them?

To what degree is frame cracking/deformation a risk with long term use of 10lb or 11lb springs and 130ish pf loads? I'm guessing it's not an issue, but I'm new to CZ's and my only experience with metal framed guns is 1911s. I ask as I'd prefer not to use the buffers they ship with.
