  1. I have gotten quite a few PM's and/or emails without getting replies to the original posting. And as mentioned, if you have it on multiple forums you have that to deal with too.
  2. I put one on mine, but it looks like I need to shave some plastic off the trigger guard or chamfer the back side of the safety. It works, but there is at least 1/32" of gap behind the button. Seems like it could work its way into the "ON" postiion as the weapon cycles. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks
  3. I am loading some on my server right now, but I think B.E. will probably delete them....
  4. All I can say is I bought 5 last year....
  5. Yes - KurtM has many posts on the subject - I don't remember the fix though.
  6. Who makes that 2 round shell holder on the rear of the forearm?
  7. It's an M1, but virtually the same barrel
  8. Thank god EBAY is protecting us all from those dangerous pieces of steel tubing!!
  9. I have a C-RUMS lifter gate installed and it was causing slugs to hang up. I bent the nose of it down like Kurt suggests above and it runs fine now. Easy fix, no grinding. Anybody have a picture of this bend....need to make the mod.....how far back. I bent mine down about 1/2"-5/8" back from the tip - just a bit, as you can alway bend a bit more if needed. Does cycle better - you basicly want it to go to the same height as the original when in the up position. If you go too far, you won't be able to get rounds out of the mag tube without cycling the action.
  10. I have no complaints on either, but the Nodic is much lighter. I wouldn't hesitate to use either (I use both). 5Shot
  11. Reduced wear and easier cleaning are 2 benefits you will see. The chrome lining is Industrial Hard Chrome, which has a much higher Rockwell Hardness than the barrel steel. Therefore you get reduced wear. Since it is a plating operation, you also get a smoother finish (not necessarily as uniform as the barrel blank), which reduces fouling. The non uniformity of the plating is what may reduce your accuracy, but the barrel WILL last a lot longer and be easier to clean. 5Shot
  12. I used to work at an engine rebuild shop, and the guy who ground the crank shafts all day was this skinny guy, about 6'-0" tall. He could reach out into the middle of a bunch of cranks standing on end, grab the snout of the one in the middle and pick it straight up. I had trouble picking one up with both hands! It is amazing what kind of strenght you can build in your hands from repetitive exercise.
  13. Where do you find one of these? Anyone have a phone number?
  14. So..... what is the Cycle Rate for a Benny Hill Benelli?
  15. Hung, check out the new chest rigs that our south Texas CC mates are promoting - Trapr is now using this and for dual ammo stages this is how I cope with brain fade !!! Got a link to the Chest Rig? Thanks, 5Shot
  16. In my quest to learn this skill, I have been following the above (nice basic description BTW), but I have added one more aspect.... I call my shots while doing Dry Fire Practice as well. When I draw and fire at the target, I "Call the Shot" just as if it were live fire. Definitely not the same, but if you start where the sights aren't lifting off of the target (which is another skill to be mastered), it makes the task of calling the shot a bit easier (for me anyway). I call all the shots on every target, and if I can't quite remember, I know I am not focussing on the task at hand. I figure it will start to come automatically after enough dry/live fire that I won't even think about whether I did or didn't do it. 5Shot
  17. The practice is the fun part! Just pop the mag tube off the gun and grab a box of dummies. Makes the stuffing wayyy less tedious. Just keep stuffing 4 @ time until you run out of dummies, then pick em up off the floor and start again. It isn't very likely you will get faster than Kurt, but it will help 5Shot
  18. Something to do with having 3 shells left in the first Shell Carrier?
  19. Mag tubes, charging handle, shell lifter, safety, springs - pretty much everything but the furniture and the trigger housing (although that last one might too). 5Shot
  20. My only problem with week hand is "Small" hands (but that's all ) - makes it a little harder to load 4 at a time, but 3 is no problem. In time I hope to be able to do 4, fumble free. 5Shot
  21. I want to put an extended safety on my M2 - do the M1/M2 safeties interchange? Thanks
  22. The problem is that my 7 year old daughter can always tell the difference between them and asks me why I got another one! Of course, getting the gun isn't so bad....it's all of the NORDIC Accessories that are killing me ! Luckily, my little side business is keeping my Toy Fund rather full, so it isn't quote as problematic. 5Shot
