  1. All women want to be with him, all men want to be like him. Way to go, my friend.
  2. We page for MCC is up along with link to match app (all subject to review by MD).
  3. Hi Walt, Did not mean to step on any toes. Wanted to take advantage of having the match already set up. Did not consult Thurmonts schedule. Sorry about that,
  4. We are going to resurrect North Mountain ICORE at the Summit Point, WV range on August 28. The match will utilize the stages for the Summit Action Shooters USPSA match the previous day. Match fee for this inaugural match will be $15. We need 20 shooters to sign up to get this off the ground. Expect 6 stages with 110+ rounds. If you can attend, please PM or email me. Thanks, Bob
  5. Better yet, vote for Sam Keene for USPSA president and you will get a stand alone revolver nationals and a USPSA president who has declared that he will take a leave of absence from his regular job for the term of his presidency and USPSA will have its first full time president. Not just another pretty face.
  6. You need to read his article at the 4wheelguns.com sight. You will learn a lot (not necessarily about how to shoot a revolver). I always thought he was a Roger, now, I know he is an arthur. I wish Roger would add to his Blog. GREAT blog, with permission, I would like to add it to my ZSA site for others to enjoy. Roger's call.

  9. They work with any speed loader, Comp III for K and L frame and all SLV speed loaders in any configuration, KLN SW, Ruger, whatever you have. The manufacturer only needs to know what you are using. Modifications to the diameter of the speed loader affect the design. Modifications to the length, ie "facing the speed loaders" does not. This applies to the ICORE holders as well as the IDPA holders. Look here.
  10. Look about 2/3 down this page and Roger describes how to disassemble these.
  11. Glad you have fun! You going to be around when it airs to give us some insight on the week-to-week shows and posts on the message board here? You guys are going to laugh at me. No way.
  12. If one is planning on shooting IDPA, be aware that cutting brass, or using .38SC or .38LC in a .38/.357mag isn't IDPA-legal. Cutting the speedloader helps the rounds clear the speedloader easier once they're released into the cylinder. I'm not clear how using short rounds does the same thing, since, when shorter rounds are released from a speedloader, the base of the round still has to clear just as much speedloader body as a standard round. Tom This should be required reading
  13. Welcome to the forum.

  14. My good friend Stan the "Professor" has a birthday tomorrow. Please wish this ultimate road warrior the best.
  15. The modified speed loaders are ones that have been faced and had their diameter cut down. There is a wide range of diameters of speed loaders from the SL Variants for J frame revolvers to HKS and SL Variant speed loaders for N frame guns. Some info on modifying speed loaders is here. Info on diameter of speed loader holders is here.
  16. Roger has some more info here.
  17. CCW is Here. Dave is here. Looks like they copied the exact look of Dave's loader.
