Thanks Six Gun- that's indeed what it is. The place I ordered them from had them listed as Moon Clip holder for IDPA... so I thought they would be for .45 and be the short ones.. guess not. I guess I can try to exchange them... modifying them might not be that difficult except for the post..... Call me and I will take care of them. The phone number is at the bottom of my web site.

I think TK machines the cylinder and also provides moon clips. There are already some NM moon clip holders out there made for the 500.

Is 80 shooters the minimum to hold the match? No. 80 Shooters puts a SW 500 on the prize table.

Did not get enough shooters to take this to Summit Point. We are going to reschedule this at Walnut Ridge near Winchester, VA.

First ... How far would we want to carry the analogy? Should we have to wear the same underwear and socks? (Just being silly, but you get my point.) I'm not aware of any requirement to wear the same footwear for the entire match. The only requirement is for "equipment," or more specifically, the gun and holster. Second ... I remember some years back shooting with someone in VA, on a regular basis, who would always shoot the match BAREFOOT! Johnny Hutchison
