9# For My trojan

I thought an 85 passed?My bad,, 78 1st time...ouch

I took it a few days ago. 1st time, I got a 87. The next day I figured I had better take it more seriously, got a 95, glad it's over,,for now...

Has anyone got any info on this event? I have gone to gadpa, but nothing...

I recently shot Ala state,,on my squad a guy was shooting lead projectiles in his open pistol. I asked him if there were any issues, he stated he has shot over 10k, and no leading. I looked at his comp and it was clean. I will say that when he was shooting, there was a bunch of smoke, but no more then my SS , on any other pistol shooting major ,using lead.

Well, all I can say is,,I can't hardly move this am.my back........worth every bit of paaaaain

I had a aet barrel and it shot fine with anything I used, lead,plated and jacketed.

I am gonna start saving my pennies, I would love to take the advanced class with you guys. How about a kidney or something?

I looked back on this thread, if i heard the gunsmith correct yest, it mimicks what ctay said in a earlier post.

I hear ya,,im just trying to repeat what i was told...so, have you personally done this in a 38s or sc open pistol?

I spoke with a gunsmith today, he says it is not as easy as some say. I'm sure I may not be exact, but he commented that 38S & 38SC case headspaces in the barrel (I think) & that a 9mm being a shorter case will headspace on the extractor. He seemed to be saying that it is a disaster waiting to happen. And when I spoke of a 10mm pistol shooting 40s&w, he said its the same as the 38/9 thing.. If it were as easy as just shooting one thru the other, nobody would be re-barreling their pistols to shoot the other cartridge in it. I sure wish some gunsmiths would chime in here..
