  1. I am right handed, but use my left hand thumb always no matter what pistol I use. That way my r.h. stays in the same position. Works great for me, your mileage may vary.
  2. I have the TTi sights on my 34 and they are poa/poi, for me I prefer a thinner font sight so I got a Dawson with the same height but .105 width. My buddy's 34 with the tti sights shots high. We are both shooting 147's.

    Shooting with music.

I listen to pandora while shooting all the time. I wear pro ears slim tac gold muffs and run the cord down the back of my shirt, plugged into my cell. Never have a problem hearing conversations, commands etc.
  4. Great match, had a good time. Too bad my pistola didn't cooperate.
  5. South river is a great venue, palmetto gun club has hosted a6 in the past. I went to the fl section 2 weeks ago, and that place is the bomb. Large stage areas, plenty of room, for the ultimate run and gun match.
  6. Sweet, so glad it passed. Now to continue my acquisition of stuff.
  7. Correct,,but she also voted no after input, apparently yesterday. That is what she stated in her email to me yesterday.
  8. EEH,,,you got it. Fingers crossed on 8 minor
  9. I don't understand why any revo shooters oppose this. It seems that the difficulty in reloading 8 and minor scoring will offset for most people, any advantage over 6 major. But, at the same time, may grow the division. Without growth , it eventually, will die a slow death, imho. My main interest in 8 minor is less recoil along with 8shot arrays seems challenging. As, I stated before, I have yet to shoot revo, so I don't know if I will like it or not. Just saying 8 minor is what attracted me to revo.
  10. I emailed Linda yesterday, and she responded back. She said that between nov 2012 -jun 2013, 38 uspsa members contacted her most of which were active revo shooters, they all opposed 8 minor , so she opposed it. Since the 28 more have contacted her, and only 10 ( including myself) have wanted 8 minor approved. So with that, she will vote no on the 8 minor. So, anyone wanting a yes vote from her, had better act fast. I have not been a revo shooter, but am planning on shooting it after jan 2014. My plans are to try 8 minor. I do hope this passes.
  11. I have developed tennis elbow over the past 2-3 months. It seemed to start when I started shooting major load with a light weight firearm (limited). It has gotten to where it hurts all the time even without having anything in my hands, all I have to do is hold my arms out like I am shooting , and there it is. I started shooting production and the pain is less afterwards. I just purchased a strap that you tighten up, I hope it helps. I guess I will know sat after our match.
  12. Will the 5 post bend to fit a persons body? i.e. having it positioned to the weak side and curving around the hip bone ?
  13. I am trying to get set up in revo, and it seems a bunch of ppl are using a 4 post holder and the a single one also. I am thinking why not just get a 5 post and be done with it. I have a 34 in waist, So my concern is well it fit across the front add of my waist. Thanks in advance. Btw, I plan on using it for big 45acp & 38 special and maybe 38 short colt at a later date.
  14. Btw, have you called comp tac and asked if they can make you the straight drop like they made before they went to the international?
  15. If you don't care for the international,, check into master tac holsters, they are great, and they offer just what you are asking about.
  16. Thanks for the input, I will prob go with blade tech for both wheel guns and a 4 or 5 post NM moon clip holder. I plan on getting my wheel gun on by the 1st of 2014.
  17. I thought about the racemaster, as I already own one , so the block is all I would need. With my glock the racemaster drags bad, despite adjustments and taking off material, so I'm not willing to mess with it or another in revo division.
  18. Hi fella's, I recently picked up a 625 and a 627, both 5" and plan on shooting both in USPSA! Assuming the 627 becomes legal in the revo division. The problem I am having is deciding on a holster. The 3 I am considering is a doh from bladetech, well 2 ,,then a ghost ultimate and last, a CR speed holster. I am hoping you guys can let me know your thoughts on the three I have narrowed it down to. Thanks in advance. Pbosik
  19. Does it factor at all that shooting minor instead of major should be a more pleasant experience ? I'm not recoil sensitive, but the 625 does feel different..like comparing my G34 production pistol to my 35 limited pistol, one minor, the other major.
  20. I'm thinking this is the match for me in April, instead of that mud bog A6 next year..can't wait

    8 shot...

Wow,,Bob , you are one heck of a guy...way to go
  22. What ever happened to the monthly standings? I enjoyed checking them, not that it mattered, but.....
  23. You mention for 3 gun matches, the 625 for 3 gun will not work as well as say a 686, my reasoning is it is 2 on paper and move on. With the 625, it will have more felt recoil as you will prob be at or near major power factor, as with the 686 will be running at closer to minor. So easier to shoot and scoot, imho.
