  1. I zero at 25 yds. Call TTI, they will help you figure it out. What grain bullet are you shooting?
  2. I ordered some a couple months ago. It took about 3 weeks for order to ship. He's not very responsive with communication but he still is making them apparently. Best grips by far.
  3. Are you sure this "port" isn't the cutout/open part of the slide on the G34?
  4. After trying 11lb and the 13lb I've usually ran, I prefer the 13lb. Felt like the 11lb made the recoil more harsh and all my second shots were high.
  5. Waterbucket, Whenever i "tried" to like something, it never worked. It should just come natural. You shouldn't have to fight all the issues in an attempt to shoot it well. The pistol is your tool to produce results. Pick the one that produces results.
  6. From my experience, trigger spring does more harm than good.
  7. Waterbucket, I had the same exact issue as you. I have med size hands but long thin fingers. I shot glocks for years. Decided to pick up m&p 5 in for production. Felt great in the hand, dry firing. But when it came to actually shooting drills/match, horrid. Upper part of grip was too narrow, trigger finger way too deep, second trigger finger joint had to pass 90 degrees to break shot, curved trigger made me pull shots. Put larger backstrap on, it doesn't change the tang grip width and now i can't reach the mag release. Sell it and get the glock you want. You can't practice/dryfire if the gun doesn't fit. You won't feel confident, constantly trying to shift grip on draw, trying to adjust trigger finger when shooting at speed. Quit messing with it. I learned the hard way. I've essentially tried every polymer striker fired gun for production. There's a reason cz/tanfo or glock dominate production division.
  8. Same Here, I tried them all and settled on a 13lb ISMI Thanks for feedback.
  9. How often are you changing guide rod/spring in your non game glocks? I know there is a recommended interval. Ive never had a problem with mine but i have none over 5k or so rounds. Game glocks get way more abuse with me.
  10. I had a fns 9l that I loved. Sold it for my current production division glock 34 because no one made parts for tuning....no springs, guide rods, trigger components, etc. When I bought sevigny sights for it, I talked to Dave's wife Brooke and they said they don't offer any gunsmithing or trigger jobs. Its unfortunate because that pistol has potential.
  11. Should be 17 lbs if I'm not mistaken.
  12. What power factor is your ammo? I'm going to try 11 lb spring once mine arrives.
  13. The extended release in my current gen 3 is fine, not too long, doesn't dig into my support hand. I still have to shift my grip to release mag. The gen 4 34 i handled at the store, i honestly can't tell if it's the extended mag release or not. The larger surface area did make a difference but i still had to shift grip to release mag, and that's with no back strap. Thanks for everyone's help. I just have long fingers and short thumbs i guess haha
  14. Thanks everyone. I'm just wondering if there is significant difference between gen 4 with extended mag release vs gen 3 that i have currently with extended mag release. I'm not going to buy new gen 4 and work it up for production if there is essentially no difference. Gen 4 mag release is larger, more surface area, but doesn't protrude as much as the gen 3. Seems like a wash to me.
  15. Thanks for everyone's input so far. I'm asking to see if it's worthwhile to switch from gen 3 to gen 4 due to my inconsistent ability to reach the gen 3 mag release. Another question, the 34 gen 4, does it already come with the extended mag release?
  16. What is the consensus on the extended magazine release for gen 4 for production? There is minimal difference I feel like; only millimeter longer. And it is not possible to put large frame/glock 21 magazine release on the 34?
  17. I think with the glock 19, people use 15 lb spring. Don't quote me on that.
  18. Reloading ammo to proper minor power factor more reliable with lighter spring, shoots flatter, can even help with ejecting brass. Not going to damage gun unless you're shooting over powered ammo or factory +p type stuff. Everyone uses 11 to 13 lbs. Experiment. I've always used 13 lbs but am going to experiment with 11 lb.
  19. That sounds ridiculous. Soft metal? Try bending one or drilling a hole in one, very difficult. And using a 6 lb striker spring? The factory 5.5 lb is plenty strong enough. We're chasing a lighter pull, no one is going to increase the striker spring weight. I have no idea what the owner is talking about...no wonder why many don't like their products.
  20. Installing that new trigger upgrade kit from gray guns, especially the actual trigger pad/trigger shoe, is it still production legal?
  21. Lol. I figured that was the case but didn't want to assume.
  22. How are you guys fitting a gen 3 housing in a gen 4?
  23. Is the width of the tang/upper grip area wider on the stock 2 than SP-01? I can switch to thicker panels but the upper part of grip/trigger reach essentially remains the same.
