  1. Winchester 540 when it was around. Glad I still have 10lbs or so left.
  2. Anybody doing moonclip conversions on the Charter Arms 44Special? Got a guy looking to have 1 done. Thanks, Steve
  3. + 1 to what Corey said! Al ready have 2 of the beverage openers! Steve I got one of those I need a tactical .45 opener
  4. That makes it a good weekend for the rest of us then don't it Tony? Not that it affects me any though... Guess next time I will see you will be Benning again! Steve
  5. Here you go Jim! KyStateMatchInfo Oh wonderful Jeff, tell Gary I said thanks alot! Steve
  6. My app is in and my check was cashed! Guess that means I have a slot? LMFAO Always a great match, can we do away with all that silly shotgun loading though this year? Steve
  7. Blue, Have a pic of the handle you made? Can't believe I haven't switched mine over yet. Sounds like a doable project, if not by me then by 1 of the Journeymen at work. Steve
  8. Yes it should, they are the same length in the grip if I am not mistaken. Only difference is in the barrel/slide lengths. Try it and let us know. Steve
  9. What do you all use to make sure your scopes are level on an AR platform? Seems my Burris is off a tad and want a fast easy way to insure it is level. Not much good for anything over your zero range if its off. I looked at the Wheeler Engineering Level Level Level tool, but it states it is for bolt action rifles. Thanks, Steve
  10. I have one and use it in an RCBS single stage. The Hornady Cam Lock.
  11. Nothing! But holster, pouches and mags. Oh yeah, maybe some ammo would help as well! Welcome to the addiction! Steve
  12. I use the Dillon trimmer on my 223 brass as well. It sits in a single stage RCB atm. I de-cap/size then trim. The trimmer size die part is set so as NOT to touch my cases at all. May setup another toolhead, would probably be faster. I also have a Gracie trimmer I think, which I messed up the set trim length on and now can't get it reset to save my life! Any advice other than sending it back for them to do it? Steve
  13. There is an M on that slide. Ya notice a couple of things from that picture..... You can't get the parts to make that gun. a) they don't make a tactical (5" barrel) in the XDm yet. Alan Looks like a slide from a regular XD with an XDM frame. If you look at the slide markings, it just says XD9 and Tactical, but it's been machined to an XDM slide profile. Perhaps my eyes are playing tricks on me, but it looks like it has an M (superscripted) right above the XD... Course, you could correct... Anyone know if an XD slide will fit an XDM? I didn't think there were the same , but not 100% sure.... Alan
  14. Poor thing!!! Wish I could be there but, I'll be pulling Spousal Maintainance duties in the Keys................Everyone needs to stop scheduling matches around my Anniversary.
  15. Well Corey, add 1 more to that list! The previous match hotel at Benning was 2 floors with no elevator either.
  16. +1 on this comment! Unless you are using a bolt rifle of some sort? If it's an AR platform it had better be faster than a 1:10 twist. Steve
  17. Well, Happy B-Day folks! BUT, what happened to the B-days on the 9th? Hmmmmm Happy B-day to ME and anyone else who was born on the 9th!!! Steve
  18. Ok, after reading this post I have a question. Can you get the colored lenses in the Direct Rx or only in clear? Next question, if the doc says you need bi focals for both reading and distance, how do you have you lenses done? For distance or reading or bi-focal? Had my eyes checked today and seems I need a little, not much, help with distance/reading. Joy Joy!!! Thanks, Steve
  19. Hmmmmmm, Haven't shot SSSC in a long time and it's 20 mins from me. May have to venture out to see some folks Sunday that I haven't seen in awhile. Anyone that is coming using SV/SVI 40 mags that I might borrow for a few minutes to see if they work in my Para? Hate to buy things that won't work then need to sell as USED! Steve
  20. Capacity isn't the issue. I get 20/21 in all of my mags. My issue is mainly with the Dawson modified followers holding the slide back with 1 round still in the mags. Yes we shoot limited. Steve
  21. I swapped out my followers in Dec to the Dawson "Modified" followers in my P16. After doing so, and during a qualification course, they locked open with 1 round still in the mag. I just put the old Arrendondo followers back in and all is well again. Any ideas other than the modified followers are somehow messed up? They are brand new and after everything else I have ever gotten from Dawson, expected them to work flawlessly. I am running Dawson +4 tool less pads with the Arrendondo springs/inserts BTW. Thanks, Steve
  22. All they make that I am aware of are for the Glock 17/19. I have a bunch of each and they work fine. Only issue I have is, just like original mags, that last round is a pita to get in there. Steve
  23. take the halves off the rings, mount it to the upper, put scope in rings and tighten loosely. Make sure scope is level and torque everything down. At least that's how I did it. Steve
  24. Rudy Projects make inserts for their glasses. I think, not sure, that you can flip them up or down as needed.
  25. I use the Dillon on all my LC 223 brass and it works great! Guy I borrowed it from also loaned me his 308 setup for it. Not sure how you would cut a die with it though? I use it on my single stage press but there is no special die I use with it. Just a shell holder and the trimmer sitting in the press. Hmmmm... I also have the Lee trimmer Rich, took way too long to trim brass. I have the Gracie I think sitting here for 223, but of course, I didn't like where they had the length set, soooooooo. Now it sits because I can't seem to get it setup properly again. May end up sending it back to them to have it set again to my length and pick up the 308 parts as well. It is a sweet setup and worked great when I got it. Trims and chamfers/deburrs inside and out all at once. Steve
