  1. That's why in IPSC in Australia we demonstrate and explain the activation requirements and only accept those .
  2. hmmm name of device is "stomp" as in stomp on it with foot?
  3. If you're after something not too tactical try the Tru Spec Eclipse pants they are like a jeans lay out, with larger ruler / tool type pockets on side of thighs that will take AR mags, so plenty of room plus they have very deep front pockets that have a folding knife pocket inside. I wear them for work and play.
  4. Mate of mine here in Australia was showing his to me on the weekend just past, they are apparently a +2 not that that makes a difference in production but might work out well in Carry Optic?
  5. Don't have an issue with anything before you shoot a lot of folks just went straight to the " illegal" rather than answering the question about what happened and how to allocate any procedural's the crap about getting the stage tossed because the person shot it wrong is in my opinion just that "crap" there's an old saying " you break it you own it" trying to weasel out of it is just piss weak.
  6. How about ignoring whether it's a legal stage or not and answer the question about procedurals? How else do people learn?
  7. FYI guy's the option is just the frame not a complete gun, I got a message on FB from Nighthawk Custom yesterday.
  8. I did see that, someone suggested an older PT grip? Might think about one for my GRP
  9. Your attempt Dan? Not sure I'd call winning and defending your National Championship title an attempt
  10. Without seeing it I would suggest the RO deemed the AD to be in a safe direction, and with the target being less that 10 ft that "allows" the shot to strike less than 10 ft doesn't it?
  11. I believe if you change to VZ slim grips they do say on their website to get the slim bushings as well as screws.
  12. I don't shoot CO as I'm an IPSC guy and at this point we don't have the Division ( or may never) but I think as someone said earlier any of the Production holsters will fit the bill. The most popular would more than likely be the Bladetech and these day's you will see a lot with a hanger other than the DOH that comes from Bladetech. I use the Boss hanger on my Classic div holsters and they work as advertised.
  13. What reason are you conflicted? Just brands?
  14. I use the std plastic on Tripp mags on my Nighthawk GRP. But that's mainly because of rear sight height when fitting the box
  15. Ok just checking, you can probably get any mag or base pad, we get screwed over here in Australia for choice.
  16. What do you mean won't fit in the gun bag? I presume you mean the one that comes with the pack? Just use a bag you normally use for the open gun, I had an open PARA that fitted into the compartment with no issues in a soft sleeve.
  17. Mike How does the slide go forward by pulling the trigger on a 1911?
  18. Tried the bigger Dawson IPSC and the Techwell variants (all of them ) gone back to a S&A on my Springfield Loaded now. I just wish Dawson would make a carry sized magwell so you could swap out from the larger version if you wished to.
  19. I have both and to be honest I think the handgunner is the better the tactical is a little small overall for my taste, if they could combine the features of the tac with the size of the HG I would probably jump on that. Ie: the side entry and the molle straps.
  20. I used one for a year without the foam, no issue just use common sense in loading them up. Which is probably the wrong thing to say to a shooter
  21. The issue of placing a magnet in your pocket is also an issue in regards to allied equipment and the hip bone / 50 mm rule.
  22. Bret You would also be incorrect in that as magnets are allowed in IPSC which is what rules the OP was referring to wasn't he?
