There is an old saying, "Every shot you fire in self defense has a lawyer attached to it." It is for this reason that I have never used the latest hi-tech manstoppers or high power calibers for self defense. The house gun is a ,380 firing 95 gr. FMJ. I have other guns on hand if the situation calls for it. But keep in mind, 9 times out of 10 an attacker is going to run at the very sight of a gun. 9 out of 10 of the rest will run upon seeing that gun pointed at them and 9 out of 10 of the remainder are going to lose their will to attack upon being shot with ANYTHING. I don't need to kill an attacker to stop him. And that means less chance of dealing with a dozen lawyers trying to paint me as a psychopath LOOKING for an opportunity to kill someone.

Brake is upside down for now. It bottomed out the threads before it screwed on far enough to tighten on all of the shims I had. Another 3 sets are now on order and I may look at some other options for it. The bipod is exactly what I expected. Solid and sturdy the legs don't flex at all and the gimbal is very smooth and and easy to adjust the resistance. Honestly I got it because it was the only one that matched the carbon fiber theme but I'm very impressed with it.

I have a BSF 20" CF wrapped barrel on my AR10, granted it's not a 3 gun riffle and I avoid beating it around but I haven't had any issues with it. Keep in mind carbon fiber is not by any means fragile. This is what they make modern race cars out of, It's as strong as steel and 1/10th the weight.

If you put a lot of practice into your mag changes, you don't miss by much and the mag funnel lasts longer.

Dressed up the butt stock to match the barrel. Gonna do the palm shelf the same way and I have a carbon fiber bipod on the way as well.

I don't bother with red dot sights. I just shine a laser in my eye for a few seconds and I get the same effect. Been having trouble adjusting for windage though.

Been using Clark's 4 finger sear spring in all my guns for more than 25 yrs. They give me a lot more ability to fine tune my triggers and I have never had one fail.

Actually the problem I have right now is finding bullets and primers as fast as I load or shoot. Local gun club is doing USPSA matches now and I don't know if I'm gonna have the ammo to actually do it.
