You are not required to expose 50% of your torso, so please feel free to use as much cover as possible. Not exposing the toe makes cover much easier to call. The real problem is 90% of shooters can't lean and shoot.

I've had the same issue with the bulk pack Winchester stuff. I will not buy it again. The Federal bulk stuff has been ok. Got tired of cleaning my 930 all the time and got an M2.

Just did some checking, tek locks are easier to install on my shooters connection belt than daa.

I get them on, but have to squeeze REALLY HARD.

If it shoots POA/POI and you like the sight picture, then keep it. I put a FO front on my XD service and just blacked out the rear, works fine for me.

Modifications to magwell, slide stop, and trigger guard are expressly mentioned as allowed modifications, safeties and beaver tails are not. To me, cutting barrel length to 4.1" to be CCP legal makes sense, but IDPA has ruled this is not so. If it ain't in the book, it ain't legal, no matter how much we think it should be. I follow the written word, as well as I can understand it, because there is no "spirit of the rule". As far as ACs go, I listened to one tell a guy he could modify the frame on his Sig P320, but HQ has ruled that illegal as well. Hopefully 2017 will provide more clarity.

Under 8.2.2.2 , which is the INCLUSIVE list of permitted modifications, aftermarket safeties are allowed 8.2.2.2.29. Nowhere in the rule book does it state that it is permissible to alter the factory safety. Just because people do it, and it may be within the spirit of the rules, that does not make it legal per the current rule book. If I missed something, please point it out as I am always eager to learn. It is possible there is something in the over 100 clarifications that I have missed.

After market safeties OK. Filing down your safety, not so much.

I only see them in 3 gun. I bring a box of 40 major just for pistol spinners, some 12g 1350 fps #6 for shotgun spinners, and use my long range 69g stuff for rifle. The worst part is standing there eating 10-20 seconds on one target.

I feel your pain. I'll shoot the most alphas and finish down the list. I have to get my feet moving sooner and execute better reloads on the move. Get the low hanging fruit then worry about those .8 draws and .2 transitions.
