  1. Just get a double action Shadow with a gunsmith fit short reset trigger in it. That way you can easily shoot it SAO but all have the option of double action for SSP.
  2. Honestly I am not sure. I suspect it's the large. It came on my Blade Tech rifle mag pouch and I repurposed it.
  3. Let me try but my context is USPSA. 1. This may non be a typical response but I have fewer malfunctions with my CZ than my Glock 34. I was having issues with light strikes on my Glock because I couldn't get Federal primers any more and later I also found that my striker had excessive wear that was making the problem worse. A light trigger on a Glock usually requires being very mindful of primer sensitivity. CZ triggers are generally much more tolerant to different primers at similar trigger pull weights. When moving to a CZ I originally had a few malfunctions that were self induced because I way still getting used to the controls. I had the same issue when I originally moved from a standard Glock to one with extended controls. Are a number of minor tweaks that should be performed on every CZ you get that eliminate most reliability issues and you should be doing regular maintenance but if you do your part. 2. Classifier time would likely be similar if you are competent with each gun. 3. Most have no complaints with stock Glock or stock CZ accuracy. Out of the box I might give a slight edge to the CZ (good trigger helps) but the G34 has better sight radius which might help to milk out the inherent accuracy a bit more in practice. I had a BarSto in my 34 and I could drive tacks with it. Accuracy on my 34 with a BarSto was better than stock CZ Shadow but not as good as an Accu Shadow. Any of these guns are likely much more accurate than the shooter. 4. You might get a bit less flip and slightly faster splits on a CZ but they are heavier than the Glocks so target transition may be slightly slower. I call it a wash. 5. No. It's just a tool.
  4. Yeah, that's really odd. Maybe put the case away vertically to hold gravity at bay.
  5. It's a fixed sight and it's drifting by itself while in the case? Is it physically loose? Any chance your house was built on an old Indian burial ground? CZ Custom has a few different options for Shadow cut sights. I don't think you can get them many other places. Have you tried some red loctite?
  6. "Generally speaking, the most miserable people I know are those who are obsessed with themselves; the happiest people I know are those who lose themselves in the service of others...By and large, I have come to see that if we complain about life, it is because we are thinking only of ourselves."

    G26 for IDPA?

What a sad but true statement.
  8. The left attachment on the belt is a Blade Tech TMMS back. Next to that is the TMMS front attached to a Blade Tech Drop offset Hanger (DOH) to give you an idea of the typical attachment locations for the blade tech holsters. Notice that the top two holes on the TMMS align with holes on the ELS with no modification. I have drilled two additional holes in the TMMS to lock into the bottom set of holes (inset for the hex heads). Under the belt on the left is the QLS and on the right is an ELS. Notice that the QLS only has 3 holes on the top that align with the ELS belt on the top row and no holes to attach to the bottom row. Also, looking at the QLS hanger you see that the top two holes are spaced correctly for the middle two holes on the DOH but there is no space for a third point of attachment as the QLS hole is much lower than the DOH's center hole. The ELS is on the bbottom right. The top holes on the ELS hanger align with the bottom most holes of the DOH but like the QLS they leave no options for a third attachment point. Only with the TMMS was I able to get an upper and lower attachment point from the belt to the quick-change hanger and from the hanger to the blade tech DOH or holster.
  9. QLS is quite a bit lager and is rated for more weight
  10. Don't forget R. Kelly - Trapped In The Closet Chapters 1 through 22. Here is chapter 1:
  11. I had much better luck using blade tech TMMS to mount a Blade Tech holster on ELS than I did with QLS. With some minor modifications I get 4 ELS screws in the TMMS versus just 2 with QLS. Also with the QLS to holster was only able to get two screws in. Happy to show pictures if helpful.
  12. I think that's normal. Wish I could look at it directly. I like the idea of using a second gun to diagnose.
  13. I can't imagine how much of your lives is spent being good Samaritans around the forums but it is greatly appreciated. Not sure how much Stuart gets paid but he deserves a raise. I think is likely directly responsible for pushing a good deal of business CZCs way and will certainly continue to have mine. Thanks as well to CGW. Awesome parts and service. Still wondering why Dr. Atlas hasn't opened up his laboratory for outside work.
  14. You should seriously look at the takedown lever. It will keep the gun just out of battery when reversed.
  15. Pretty sure it have seen a Classifier or two with poppers as no shoots.
  16. He could alway shoot L10 minor then and compare his stores to the Production crew after the match.
  17. I saw that picture as well. It makes me a little nervous but either way u am picking up my new A5 tomorrow we will see how it goes. My only consolation is that a will likely be abusing mind way less since I won't be throwing it into nearly as many dump barrels as the pros do.
  18. I loved my Glock but find it amazing they they have not innovated a bit more when it comes to competition options. First thing that comes to mind is the garbage that they continue to use for sights. You can find stock fiber optics on plenty of guns now but not Glock.
  19. With the efficient 223/5.56 compensators and low mass bolt carriers and such it would be difficult to build a softer shooting gun.
  20. Interesting. I may have to get out a Glock and take a look. Another dumb question is are you intimately familiar with taking the gun part and putting it back together? I think I had a similar problem once. Turns out I reinstalled the takedown lever backwards.
  21. What happens when you let the slide slam forward? If this is only an issue when easing the slide forward than it may not be an issue at all. That's one reason why using the slide stop is more reliable than pulling back on the slide; because some times shooters will pull it back but then also ease it forward removing momentum and causing the gun to not lock up properly.
  22. You shouldn't be modifying it if you want to stay production but... Remove the trigger and trigger bar from the gun and pull back on the part of the trigger safety that contacts the frame. This should expose more if the part you want to profile. From there I used a fine sanding drum on a dremel but anything else would likely work as well. Profile of taste. Enjoy.
  23. This^^^ Been using one for years with great results. Can't stand the feel of my gun without it.
  24. Here is my solution. Just stick them to the barrel and follow directions.
