  1. One more. Ignore the shooting. Just look at where I start to reload. You don't have much space usually to get that reload done so, yes, start moving but also start that mag change at the same time. ...Also please ignore the music. a friend of mine added that as a bonus and I don't have the original. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRSHKbt5rxA#t=42
  2. Video time. I had some difficulty entering positions lined up to fire because of some tight shots behind hard cover but hopefully this will give you the idea. My magazine usually drops within a couple of feet from my last shooting position.
  3. I have one of the small logitech ones and it works okay but have moved to using a Logitech M705 off of one of their proprietary dongles. It sounds like USB ports are at a premium but it is so much nicer to use. I have a wireless keyboard on the same dongle.
  4. I would think that removal of classifier scores for which he has ROed would be in order but I don't think there would ever be a way to identify them. Even with the video evidence that has been provided it isn't comprehensive as to allow for forensic reconstruction of stage times for major matches for which this guy ROed. No, I think the only thing they will be able to do is give him the boot and everything else will have to stand as is. Perhaps you can add an asterisk in the record book for those matches or something, not that a record book exists per se.
  5. I don't ask if you aren't ready to except the clarification. Sometime ambiguity can be your friend.
  6. Video isn't permitted for arbatrations. I kinda of doubt second, unofficial timers would make the list. There will definitely need to be some best practice procedural changes which should be implemented as a result to give everyone confidence in the system.
  7. I haven't seen anything formal about any others who may have known or benefited. It's easy to prove that this guy is guilty but not so easy to prove that others were in on it. They get the benefit of the doubt.
  8. Please don't take anything in said to mean that you don't start moving as well as soon a you get done shooting from one position.
  9. Did you try the accelerometer setting? That is practically made for indoor ranges.
  10. I agree that for performance improvement it's more useful to see third person perspectives but given other recent events I imagine that the POV cameras will become even more common. Reminds me of the Russian dashboard cameras that all of the citizens drive around with for protection against corruption. One nice thing about the POV in you don't have to find anybody else to run it. That is always a challenge for me at matches.
  11. That scenarios minus the ACCU has been covered ad nauseum. You can't do it with a standard SP01 frame since it has the safety plunger and in Production you are not allowed to modify to disable any safeties.
  12. The reload pretty much always starts the moment you finishing shooting from one position. If you wait and have a problem wish your reload then you might be caught flat footed finishing a reload at the next position instead of being ready to shoot. As soon at you finish you array that magazine should be dropping and you should be reaching for the new one. There might be a few exceptions but this is the habit you need to build.
  13. Dozens of videos from multiple sources have been brought to light and while it is true that videos can be manipulated the fact that these videos span four years worth of shooting events and have been on YouTube for as long makes large-scale modification a colossal conspiracy or an impossibility. It's also true that videos compression or transposition could change timestamp somewhat however it would not change time is so exact a manner multiple times during the same video depending on who the RO happened to be at the time. The pattern is exactly consistent: friends get time removed, others get time added, and times called by alternative ROs are consistent with the time being analyzed by the Shot Coach app or even a simple stop watch. It is readily apparent to anyone who cares to examine the evidence that has been collected all who love the sport should be saddened by this limited but significant breach of integrity.
  14. I understand that discussion about scandals is taboo but this is not about something done in a shooters private life that does not directly affect the sport, there is a challenge on the integrity of match officials and it is something that will affect this community in a very real way. To pretend that nothing is happening is doing a disservice to all here even though the way which went approach this topic on this forum must be a constructive and resolute.
  15. It's petty hard to say unproven allegations after a casual glance at the evidence being presented. While I understand that focusing on the negative is not desired it does raise someone important procedural questions for match management and shooter's expectations that should be discussed in a civilized manner. Also, I see nothing on the list which you provided that would mute sensible discuss on this topic.
  16. I can't point to the rules but in general you should stay away from personal attacks, name calling, swearing, and calling others put in general. We could and should definitely talking about this in the context of how to deal with potential cheating in USPSA.
  17. Check to make sure the spring that pushes up on the trigger bar is in its grooves. If that isn't it then you may need to remove a little material from the Disconnector. I am guessing you have the Short Reset trigger?
  18. Did you back out the overtravel screw yet?
  19. I don't think there is anything that comes close to Iron man for better or worse. Most of the matches I have shot are still fun and well organized. Round counts are closer to 100 Rifle 100 Piston 50 birdshot, and a handful of slugs across 6 stages. Obviously some matches are more intense than others. Shooting out to 300 yards for a few targets is fairly normal but many matches run rifle targets in much closer. They can still be punishing, just not IronMan punishing. At the club where I shoot they feel bad and just stop you after the timer reaches 180 seconds. I don't think that would work well for IronMan. So many clubs have their own rules and feel for 3 gun that it's hard to say exactly what to expect so it might be best to locate some of the nearest matches and try to find some match videos to see what the stages look like. Here are a couple of videos from the last match I shot at Peacemaker NAtional Training Center in West Virginia https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCh6vnp0V06CfO1Jgyx5gZqw
  20. I hold the timer behind me while I clear the shooter so that the scorekeeper can see it while I am paying attention to clearing and holstering. After that I call out the time and he calls it back. It's also helpful to get the timer back there so that it doesn't pick up the slide closing or hammer down actions.
  21. iPads don't have mouse support.
  22. alma, it looks like it but are all of your mags 9MM marked? I know on the CZC site it says they can be 9 or 40 marked, not sure if I would want the 40 marked ones even though the site says they are the same. witnessed marked on one side as 9mm, the other side as 40SW. same mag, Gotcha, so they are all marked that way then? No, mine from CZC are only marked 9mm, the CZ Logo, and 9mm witness marks at 5, 10, and 17.
