  1. I load to 1.204 in 9mm with 3n38... I win longest oal! I support the concept, of factory ammo in 9 major. Everyone buying super factory, would probably buy it, but of course price has to be right.
  2. 3n38 or n105 n350 pressure is high. for me, 3n38 is one of the cheapest powders as well
  3. Any mag dropped I clean with brush before next stage. all rounds in that mag, are dumped in the "training only" pouch and i put fresh rounds in. the joys of open division, this aint plastic striker fired pistols made for war.
  4. the sensor really is great, they just released swagesense.. I requested this some time back.... so Im sure thats why they made it ordering now. I kinda want 2x mark7 units... since I have so many 1050, we will see, we will see.
  5. Its pretty sad that something so basic as a table starts results in DQs, we have them all the time, people forgetting to decock mostly Yes, guys "knowing" the rulebook is nothing new good posts jay and rjh
  6. It would be so much nicer to RO if people actually gave a f*#k and got a grip and trained properly, we had a guy doing a 90+ degree reload on left side with a 20-30 degree safety angle on left side as there was another stage there Why on you would want to move the gun off target by a mile just to DQ yourself on a bad/slow/unsafe reload is weird. Also why do you want the finger on the trigger during a reload? sounds pretty bad, we had 2DQ's on AD during reloads last week. Some stages are supertight on angles, is it ideal? noop, but its idendtical for everyone, just make a stageplan that doesnt have you point your gun backwards at targets to save time. I hate DQ'ing guys, but some of the shit they do is just unsafe and bad! We had a close to 10% DQ rate recently at a match, reason was unexperienced shooters, running past the targets, then trying to engage at a 110-120ish when it was a 90 angle... trouble is, that IS unsafe, and yes, you could build around it, but that would have taken so much from that stage in perticular (the one I posted btw on my new superduperthread)
  7. Improperly adjusted station 3 expander then, most of the times I have to adjust the length of the counterhold on the expander to get it to expand the case enough for bullet to stay in place and still properly swage.

    Primers

winchester SP federals are for tuned revolvers, not major loads.
  9. Thats my video, its quite old, I after that discoverd I was overswageing, win cases would stop it at clutch0, I have since adjusted the swagerod down a bit, and Im running flawless at 1800, with clutch 0 new firmware is very nice imho
  10. 3n38 is pretty much the cheapest powder here, you get the 4.4lbs boxes of it (132USD) n105 is a bit more expensive. For super n105 will have less kablow and flame than 3n38 No idea what it costs for you guys, VV is common/cheap/available here. Last 14 days I have loaded up more than 13-14lbs of 3n38 and thats just in 9mm
  11. n320 is the best powder for non comp guns
  12. What is your load data with the 3N38 in 9 major? 8.7gr 3n38 with 124gr alsa pro at 1.205 OAL or frontier 124gr match at 1.181 OAL
  13. imho if you run digital clutch you got something set wrong, or might need a tiny dash of one shot lube on brass I load at 1800rph with swage on my .40 with clutch 0
  14. which bullet was that? QL says thats a pretty hot load with most 124 bullets, Ive also looked into it, loooks like H110 /W296 would be a good powder?
  15. For some reason, Vihtavuori no longer lists N310 loads for 38 Special, even for LWC, in their latest material? I might go with N320, instead. Well. their load data is so safe and boring lately.. just shees I use 2.1gr VV N310 with 105gr LSWC, the tip of the bullet, is flush with the top of brass, so its seated WAY down there. this provides a fill rate over 50% and very low ES, its my bulls eye load, Ive shot it up to 100 yards, with amazing results. VV N310 can be scary stuff if you have no clue about reloading, but if you have done this before, results are amazing. for us in europe, N310 is much cheaper than clays, so its a nobrainer N320 is to slow for my loads, with N310 Im so far away from max pressure, Ideally I want something like N300 even faster that doesnt exist I use the sizer die that sizes the brass down the least, also use the expander and took a few mm off, so it expands further into brass, and a good bell upon top that, so the bullet isnt sized down as its seated. a video of it all
  16. your gun is either setup for super, or supercomp, shot whatever its setup for, btw dies are the same.
  17. Finally got it home and registerd, its 7 ounces LIGHTER than my main open gun (steel grip. came with a 2 stage guide rod, not crazy about thoose, but wow this is a nice gun, build quality and finish is awesome. Yes, I belive this gun originated in australia.
  18. you want to check out 3n37 and 3n38 powders for fireballs and kablows since they are slow, its safe stuff as well.
