  1. To get the springs the correct width you may need to trim them where they meet in the roll pin. If you have some extra AR trigger guard roll pins they will work.
  2. Use 2 springs with a roll pin to connect them.
  3. Try something in the 3 oz range Brian.
  4. I throated my guard barrel to be able to run 147gr JHP at 1.15 in OAL. They would not pass the plunk test on the stock barrel.
  5. I agree and think you are headed in the right direction.
  6. I don't have a complete guard I built with the bolt barrel combo. I have run buffers from 1 to 4 oz and a standard carbine spring.
  7. I dont know that break in is as much of the issue as the buffer weight. I am running a lighter buffer to get 130pf 147 gr and 124 gr ammo to run 100%.
  8. If you know someone with a 3d printer taccom has a public file for a +8 extension online.
  9. I hope you enjoy gas blowback in your face. The M4-72 is pretty distracting to shoot behind.
  10. Are you running any of the weights in the carrier? If so start by running with that removed.
  11. It all depends on your component costs. Buying in bulk and finding a cheap brass source keeps a gap between hand loaded and factory or reman hoser ammo. There will still be a large gap between hand loads and purchased match type ammo.
  12. The taccom splice works well if you use a roll pin to connect the springs instead of 2 springs separated by a base plate.
  13. You can buy FMK 40 rd. mags and mod them for the mag catch just like you would an uzi mag.
  14. Why aren't you using an empty mag in the gun for reload drills?
  15. If you want the tool head aligned with the platform yes it is needed. The alignment tool drops in a powder die. If you know someone with a empty tool head borrow it for the alignment. I haven't tried it but you may be able to just pull your powder measure off the tool head drop the alignment tool in and leave dies in place.
  16. I had one break and didn't know it until I was deep cleaning the press. Hopefully that corrects your issue. If you don't have an alignment tool get Dillon to send you one and align everything when you get it put back together.
  17. There is an adjustment post that will fine tune the shell plate location. It it the same post that drives the index ring. It has two hex head bolts that you can loosen and adjust forward and backwards. This can fine tune the shell plate location if press is not out of alignment.
  18. You are correct the Gibbz and NFA side chargers will work off the fake gas key. The cam pin just keeps the bolt from rotating in an AR15 so since blowbacks don't have a rotating bolt the cam pin is not needed.
  19. The taccom bolt is 11.9 oz without the weight.
  20. Make sure your case insert block isn't dragging on the finished round chute when placing a case in the shell plate.
  21. Ballistic Advantage barrels need the throat opened up, or at least mine did.
  22. When you submit the Form 1 paperwork you designate a caliber for the SBR. You can run any caliber you want on that lower as long as you can put it back into the original SBR configuration.
  23. Try here, if they aren't in stock call their contact number and ask. http://www.stagezeroshooting.com/pure-gold-pure-gold-browning-a5-invector-ds-shotgu.html
  24. The KAK block works well. It is a bottom load block and can be found for $100 or less.
