He is actually welding up barrels, not the slides. It does solve the issue. He worked on two of my guns. I do need to tap the back of the slide sometimes on make ready because they are very tight now. Similar to my X5 slide (Not Legion).
Also, the Gray guns slides are bullseye accurate but they do require a break in period - over 300rds. Mine are modern classic, not Lockwood.

I tried a thumb rest on my limited guns a few times. I even shot a season with it. At the end I decided against it for various reasons. The main one is it prevents me from switching between different guns (The ones without a thumb rest) easily. Also the benefit of it is highly debatable for me. Perhaps it works better with an Open gun but with everything else it is actually counterproductive. At least for me.
Yes, I just found it under 40.30 Section:
8. Installation of the GLOCK Performance Trigger in the G19 Gen5/MOS, G17 Gen5/MOS, G19X, G26 Gen5, G34 Gen5/MOS, G45/MOS, and G47 MOS only.
I have one of those. It runs without any issue with my Limited ammo (1.185OAL). I use Tripp's 10mm mags. Thinking about getting another one. I am not really a SS guy but I am having a lot of fun with it off season.
I think it only happens with 21rd mags with TT base pads or similar doing slide lock reloads. If you run 17rd mags with something like Henning basepads or stock 21 rd mags it should not be a problem.
I broke an ejector on my 2011 Limited gun once overinserting the mags hard. Kinda similar problem.
CCI Small Rifle Primers give me light strikes around 3-5%. So I use them for practice only. WSR should be softer but I did not have a chance to test them enough to tell
