  1. Where are the stages?? This is what I get: http://www.doubletapranch.com/Stage-design-index.html
  2. Your not quite that bad Pat, You are welcome and if anyone does have a problem, F@*& 'em and feed 'em beans! Welcome aboard.
  3. So far this winter I have only seen flurries once, and they didn't stick. Still gets cool, into the 20s at night, but returns to the 50s by mid day. I got sick of dealing with the cold and finally got out!
  4. Sounds damn good right now!
  5. I am loading to 1.180" OAL to shoot out of an STI barrel. The STI barrel is "faster" than the 6" Schuemann oddly enough.
  6. When I was in the USMC working as an FA-18D mechanic I got a chance to take a back seat ride in Yuma, AZ. What a trip! I can only imagine the rush of launching off a carrier!
  7. I am using a Shanahan grip and really like the stippling he has done on it. It has the best grip of the painted ones I have seen. It is also double cut nicely. I have undercut all my grips and really like this feature. Even on my airsoft guns!
  8. Check out Widener's: http://www.wideners.com/itemview.cfm?dir=278|284
  9. I plan to really increase my match attendance this year since last year I was unable to. There are 4 local matches per month. So I plan on going to every one that doesn't conflict with the 13 major matches I plan on going to.
  10. I am using 3.3 gr with a 200gr Black Bullets Int. bullet with a PF of 169 out of a 6" STI. Same load works well with the 5" STI Trojan. I notice when the sun is just above and behind the targets, it is smokey and obscures the targets. But in mid day or with a slight breeze, smoke is not a problem. Doesn't feel as soft as Clays in my opinion, but it is close to Clays in loading.
  11. I just picked up the CV-750 due to my second CV-500 dying and I have noticed that it doesn't clean as well either. It doen't sift the media in in a rotating fashion, it just vibrates the media. I am kinda bummed with the new one. Good to know about the 2 hour limitation. I will be observing that in the future. Maybe clean for two hours and cool down for an hour then another two hours. I run mine on one of those timer doo-hickeys.
  12. +100- I will try and get in this one, but more importantly it is refreshing to see the venue announced earlier this year. There are over 50 2009 matches, that I am aware of, already scheduled. That is commendable on all the match official's parts. Thanks to all that have taken the time to get things done in a timely fashion!
  13. Rock n Roll bro! Nicely done. How did you finish?
  14. Understandably so, I recall mentioning that it is "helpful to know you have secure footing" and mentioned reasons why they have put one more aspect of confidence into the ball of wax.
  15. This one makes a good wallpaper for the desktop.
  16. We use this at each of the two matches a month with only minor growing pains of training new users. Not sure how well it works on the back end, but it is pretty cool. Rod is still massaging this system, now able to incorporate shoot throughs and other small details. I think this is the future of match scoring as we will see it.

    STI GP6

I can't wait either. Not sure how long it will take to get approved. Not sure if the standard GP-6 is approved as of yet. So go out and buy on ASAP!
  18. I have been using the Nike Sharks with no adverse ankle issues or slipping on wood surfaces. I can still pivot suffisciently also. It does help knowing that you have secure footing. It may take some people awhile to get used to them. But they really help out here in the sandy conditions.

    STI GP6

Some updates via STI SkinnErgram: We'll also have on display more profferings from our association with Slovakia. One will closely resemble the GP6 but will be a Double Action Only model. The other will be called the P1 and will be, basically, a GP6 that has been shortened by about 3/4" and will have a chrome colored slide. All the same internals. Not on display, but coming in May, will be the GP6-C (competition model). Same pistol as the GP6 except it will have adjustable rear sights, fiber optic front sight, over size thumb safety, and 20 round magazines as standard. I am gonna wait for the GP6-C. Too bad it would come in a 5" version...
  20. Hey Chris- lets make a deal on that Guga one. I could use one.
  21. Congrats, looks like a beautiful country. Nice pics, thanks for sharing.
  22. I like the red/black grip on the Eagle and the red/yellow grip on the Edge. The grips really compliment the guns nicely.
