  1. i use a zev fulcrum i got but i pretty much only use it as a trigger bar and stiker now. ive found that it with a TTI striker spring and TTI connector has been the best for me so far. if i build another glock for production I'd probably go DK (i believe his are production legal)
  2. finally builidnt a 35 top end for my glock 34 and after reading this i decided to get one, luckly I got a kydex sponsor close to me, that has made a few already for a glock with a frame weight. i snagged one up off FB today for $60 cant beat that price
  3. I shot a match last month and on one of the last stages I succesfully called my miss int hardcover, did see the hole I just knew it happend, it took a second to register in my head what happend bc I've never had it just stick out in my head like that before. This months match I'm going to try and pay better attention to that, hopefully I'm on the verge of actually being able to do it more consistently
  4. If you use tek loks just make sure you put some of the hook part of velcro on the back so you dont have any dead space between the inner and outer belts, if the belt falls off with your pistol on it even in the holster you'll be DQ'ed (seen it happen). I use a custom belt from Jones Tactical with an inner and outer combo, its not as rigid as a double alpha but it has some flex to it so I can get it to conform around my waist better and stick better, plus it has a cobra buckle I run a few inces behind my holster so I can crab the "tail" and really tighten the belt up. Once I get it strapped up it isn't coming off.
  5. thats my club adamcw we are having a uspsa match the third sunday (usually when idpa is) this month sighn up at 12 shoot at 1
  6. wonder why thet cant squeeze 22 rounds like the ETS, hell both companies need to make 140mm .40 cal mags
  7. I use kydex from red eye tactical, i dont find having my mags in all different ways makes me any faster, (although id like to try puttin an angle on my first mag) and ive never had any mags jump out when running but still come out smoothly (can hit 1 second reloads in dry fire decently consistently). id have some made bullet out if i shot production bc theyd all be behind my back almost but in limited i just run them bullets forward
  8. www.redeyetacticalgear.com
  9. i carry one in the pistol and 3 on the belt, dont believe ive ever gone to a 3rd mag, hell even in 3 gun i never have and i only carry 2 on the belt for that
  10. I've been setting up a G35 latley and I am going to buy a frame weight, luckily my holser guy lives near me and is also a sponsor (Red Eye Tactical) so he can take my gun and mold one to it. I've seen some of peoples holsters like that he did and the alll seem to love them. Good option for shooters not wanting to go with a "race holster"
  11. thats good info, apppreciate it fellas
  12. Building up a top end to finally shoot major PF with a Lone wolf 35 slide. I read where some ran 13lbs (which is what I currently use in my 34 so it's a little "broke in") or should I go ahead and get a 15lbs spring. Would there be any downside to running a 13lbs with major PF loads?
  13. Wanting to shoot limited major, my thinking is lately just get a Lone Wolf 35 slide, KKM barrel .40 ejector etc and use my 34 lower since it's set up like I like it. Has anyone ever used one? They have an *minor gunsmith maybe required, are they talking fitting to frame rails kinda thing? Any ways just looking from some knowledge here
  14. Wonder if they'll make a 140mm .40 mag
  15. maybe i should ditch my current offset and go with an invictus from what i hear they are legal, but at the same time my old offset was a bladetech and it was a tad too far as well
  16. Do they measure from inside of inner or outer belt, the rule ready 2"s measured from insde the belt. Reason i ask is because my holster hanger is right at the limit from inside my outer belt, if i measure from my waist is a tad too far by maybe a 1/4 inch
  17. In use a Black Mountain Tactical (I believe) bag. It'll hold my rifle, Versamax with 12 round tube, separate compartments for AR mags and pistol and pistol mags
  18. When I first started I did it as well, then one day while dry firing, on the draw as I built my grip I put my left index finger in the trigger guard. I broke the habit bc I was afraid I would ND one off in the air. Works for some and some it won't, with me I deemed it a safety issue being a novice and didn't want to have something happen
  19. Check out 2A armament, only like 1oz heavier than a BCM KMR, I use one and love it, plus on the top of every pic rail is milled out, looks cool and serves the purpose of lightening it up
  20. Love my stretch 16....they also can come fluted and red Cerakoted just saying. It and a great trigger has dramatically improved my shooting at distance when at one time I couldn't hardly do, now I'm much better (still need to work on the "me" factor though) but it's well worth the money
  21. Agreed^ the "BAD levers" weigh a little more
  22. Agreed^ the "BAD levers" weigh a little more
  23. I prefer a 2 stage like my AR Gold, the first stage is barely noticeable though
