  1. Added a P-01 to my collection, and had the frame Cerakoted in stainless to match my SP-01.
  2. Does anyone know if the finish on the "Elite Limited" conversion kits from EAA are the original two-tone hard chrome finish (matte rounds, brushed flats), or are they just all matte hard chrome? Or are they are just the Wonder finish like the Longslide conversions? I sent EAA an email with this question, but their reputation has me doubting an accurate answer. http://eaacorp.com/gun_accessories/index.php/parts/tanfoglio/witness/conversion-kit/elite-limited-conversion-kit.html
  3. Anything for a Stock II/Stock III/Limited Pro should work on a Match with the CC magwell. I have old style Henning grips on my Match that are for a S2/S3/LP, but had to modify them just a little bit. See my post here: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=199234&p=2302812 Alternatively, you could purchase Henning's new contoured grips specific for a Match/Stock I and cut them to fit the magwell. http://henningshop.com/products/tanfoglio-full-size-grip-panels-large-frame-new
  4. Had the P-07 slide Cerakoted Midnight Bronze today...
  5. I recently had the frame of my SP-01 Cerakoted in Stainless to look like a dual tone. Love the way it looks now!
  6. Granted, my parts bin "Limited" has a straight barrel, and my Match has a slide from a Stock III (for better rear sights) and a weld-on magwell, but I'm not sure that I can say one is better than the other. If I were forced to chose between the two, I probably would sell them both and start over with a CZ TS.
  7. It allows for easy removal of the trigger assembly from the frame. The trigger return spring is what keeps the pin in place rather than a tight fit with the roll pin. You can simply push the pin out with a punch or small screw driver without using a hammer once you take pressure off the return spring.
  8. I have both... Diamondbacks on my SP-01 and Tactical Diamonds on my Stainless LE. The Tactical Diamonds are still grippy, but are not any thinner than the Diamondbacks. To be honest, I can't tell a huge difference between them while firing the guns, but the Diamondbacks are probably too aggressive for concealed carry against your skin (I don't carry my SP-01, so no biggie).
  9. Slap a CZC magwell on it and play in Limited! :-) I am also thinking of acquiring a TB P-09, because I really like the way they look with the threaded barrels (installed a TB in my 2014 P-07 just for the cool factor). But I also plan to purchase a standard length replacement barrel for it as well, so I can play in Prod/SSP if I ever have the desire. Best of both galaxies! :-)
  10. Both of these guns are absolutely gorgeous!
  11. It is my understanding that the Stock 2 is not legal in any division of IDPA due to the 4.5" bull barrel. It's good to go for USPSA Production division as well as Limited and L-10 if you want to shoot it in those divisions. The Limited Pro is legal for IDPA in SSP and ESP (no bull barrel), but... the longer 4.75" slide/barrel make it a VERY tight fit in the box (or won't fit at all depending on the tolerances of the box). The extended custom ambi-safeties that come on the Limited Pro are also too wide to fit the IDPA box, but those can be legally switched out for smaller versions or single-sided versions. The Limited Pro is also legal for USPSA Prod, Limited, and L-10 divisions.
  12. Exact same resolution for me as well! Polished breech face = no more FTF!
  13. Is this with a Henning XL Gen3 firing pin, or is it the stock FP?
  14. Crap... now I have to spend more money that I don't have. :-P
  15. Don't forget the Stock 1, Match, and Steel full size. It appears Henning now has new grips available for all three large frame variants: Magwell, Stock2/Stock3/LimPro/Hunter, and Stock1/Match/Steel.
  16. Thanks for linking the videos of the Tanfoglio factory. I've never seen that before, and found it interesting. Now I know that I have to blame any machining blemishes on a damn robot!
  17. Added an SP-01 to my ever growing collection of CZ's last week...
  18. Nice improvements! Looks great!
