  1. No springy on the shellplate at all including station 7. All pockets are clean no nicks or cracks in shellplate. This is happening BEFORE the depriming/swage station but they appear to be in working order. I polished the plunger and took off all the black finished and now it DOES NOT stick at the most rearward position. YES it is lubed all over including the rear. Problem MAY BE some brass is getting tilted into each other and sticking together not allowing a complete drop into the plunger assembly. The clear rod seems oversized for 40 brass and allows this tilting. Just a guess, will keep an eye on it. Thanks....
  2. Have 1050 about 15k rounds in 40. Lately 2 issues have come up. 1. Have unique tech micro adjust (50k rounds) powder drop, has always been spot on, however, lately I have had to turn down (in = less) about 10 numbers to get the same powder drop using Claydot powder. Could it be increased summer humiditty ? I load in basement which is partially air conditioned about 57% humidity. 2. Brass has not been seated correct in station 1 and when decapping it is sideways and if I don't catch the problem it beads the pin. I have cleaned the plunger assembly and found that the plunger when pushed to the rear as far as possible it sticks in the rearward position. I polished the heck out of the plunger and all seems well so far, but I am not sure that was the problem. Any ideas??? Thanks....
  3. Jams in this gun are usually, but not always, mag/ammo problems. I have 2 of these; very, very pleased, service is TOP-NOTCH.
  4. ZZT, also considering open, thought the dot was not supposed to jump up and down?, new to this area of open shooting.
  5. Also claydot: uses .1 more than e-3 to get same FPS. Shoots just as soft or slightly softer than e-3. Maybe not as clean as e-3 but have not tested for that..
  6. Thanks, Bkreutz, but I see a double image when I use both eyes, so I close my left eye and the front sight is sharp, but the target is a little blurry. Tried the tape over the left lens does not appear to help. Any other suggestions???
  7. What clutch setting are you now running with the u-die? Thanks..
  8. They sent a e-mail to existing customers, its much more than sensors. Better jam control, fixes potential glitches at high speed and a bunch of other stuff.
  9. Anyone install the new software update from Mark7? Interested in your observations.. Thanks....
  10. With prescription glasses the front sight is sharp, targets are slightly blurry. Was wondering how much my shooting scores would improved with optic, either carry or open?
  11. For those 'aging eyes' guys (yes I am one of them), how much has your shooting improved/changed with an optic (open or carry optic class). I am speaking how much, if any, has you match performance changed, percentage wise?
  12. Would like to buy a small, but powerful vacuum with a hose and brush attachment to clean up after a reloading session. Mostly small particles of powder and some powder dust. Any suggestions? Shop vac is just too bulky. Thanks.... .
  13. What settings are you using for 40 cal. lubed brass loading.
  14. Mark7 manual states its up to the user to remove ratchet system?? Has anyone not removed it?
  15. Don't know if this will help, but I use a u-die at the first/deprime station AND another udie/crimp at the last station just to make sure. No problems on 650 after 60k of 40.
  16. Thanks to all that answered. Ordering Mark 7 tomorrow....
  17. What size beads did you use and where on the cables? Thanks...
  18. Thanks for the info, do you use the their optical device that checks to insure that the old primer is pushed out?
  19. Heard of EMI interference. There is now a filter for the case feeder, what about the MBF motor? Does the Mark7 require a different (stand alone) electric circuit to minimize EMI. Would be interested in current owners set up before I order one. Also not considering the price difference, compare to the Ammobot. Thanks....
  20. Anyone used this with a 1050 AND u dies? Understand that some drives with a 1050 can't run with the extra pressure needed to resize with a u die, even with case lube, so one run just to prep cases is needed before complete reload.
  21. All .40, in 650 dillion. I have an egw undersize decapper station 1, have redding micrometer in station 3 for seating bullets and have and undersize lee in station 4 for crimp and once again making sure there is no 'glock' or any other sizing issues. How often (round count) should any of these dies need replacing? Thanks.
  22. Anyone use any of their products?
  23. No step. Looks like, smells like, color like brass.
  24. Came across some DRT 40S&W brass at the range, any good????
