  3. We are proud to announce the dates for the 2nd Annual Missouri 3-Gun Championship presented by Black Dawn Guns and AR15.com. The 2016 match will be held March 19-20 at the Lead Farm 3-Gun Range outside Versailles, MO. It will feature 10 stages shot over the course of 2 days. We will have approximately 196 shooters, separated into 14 squads. Each squad will get a 1 hour break every 2-3 stages. Match fee is $195. Juniors shoot for $90. This is a bay style match so range carts are encouraged. We do allow competitors to park close to the bays but once you are parked your truck needs to remain there for the day. We can have rifle out to 600yds. Longest rifle shot will be posted once it has been decided on. Round count will be close to 150 rds for each gun. Actual round count and stages will be posted as the match gets closer. We will be using Practiscore for registration as well as scoring the match. This will not only speed up the process of posting scores but also diminish the chance for human error during input. Registration for this match will start on September 27th at 8:00 P.M. (Central Time) for last year’s participants and September 29th at 8:00P.M. for everyone else. We want to thank those who took a chance with us as a first year match and reward them for doing so. The match will be limited to the first 196 shooters. Squadding will take place a few weeks before the match. The exact date will be posted here as well as emailed to all the shooters. You will self-squad. If you do not squad yourself you will be placed on a squad with empty slots. After you fill out the Practiscore form online you will get a return Email confirming what you submitted. If all is OK then there is nothing to do but send the funds to the listed address. You will be given 2 weeks to send in your match fee. If no funds are received you will be moved to the waitlist. Match Shirts will be $20. They will be a Dri-Fit/Cool-Weave fabric shirt. Match shirts will be available at the event but in limited quantities. Order when you register to ensure you get one. If you have any questions feel free to ask. This is a match run by shooters for shooters. We are always open to suggestions. Thanks!
  4. I like 100 yards simply because it should cover 95% of the slug shots you have to take. The. Just pattern test with birdshot at 20 to make sure it still lines up. Then check impacts at 50 and 75 yards with the chokes you may use. Do that and you will be fine. Obviously your birdshot pattern is more important than slugs so if they don't line up, zero for birdshot at 20-25 and see where the slugs fall.
  5. It's gonna depends on how your slugs shoot in your barrel. For me, the Fiocchi 7/8oz 1300fps slugs shoot point of aim point of impact at 100 with IC, LM, and Mod. Pattern testing at 20yds using birdshot shows same point of aim and impact. I would say sight in for slugs at a given yardage and then check pattern with birdshot. A lot of it is going to depend on the slug distance you will be shooting.
  6. I will get them updated Monday after generation3. Practiscore just updated their website which changed the links.

  8. Bill, I have fitted both a complete XN bolt as well as an XN locking block to a pre-XN. Also I have a bunch of pre-XN drive blocks both factory and aftermarket on hand. Give us a call if you ever need one.
  9. Yes the XN and Pre-XN guns use the same lower. Issue comes when you try and use an XN lower on a Match gun. It can work but there is some machining to be done. PM me for more details. More than happy to answer any questions you have.
  10. This is about as close as I can find to your budget while still being close to what you need for 3-gun. https://www.primaryarms.com/Radical_Firearms_16_5_56MM_SOCOM_Upper_Receiver_G_p/rfuppermidmcsr.16socom12.htm
  11. Not saying one is better than the other but Just for the record:The AP is not lighter. In 15" length it's 15+ ozs. while the KMR is 8.1 ozs including the mounting hardware Where are you getting 15+ oz for the AP? It's more like 6oz.
  12. Have the gen1 17" on my current rifle. Love it. No complaints.
  13. They work great. I have done several for guys who were on the fence on a particular design.
  14. Here are the stages for tomorrows match. Come out and shoot! Stage 1.pdf Stage 2.pdf Stage 3.pdf Stage 4.pdf Stage 5.pdf
  15. How close is parking to the stages? Is it worth bringing a gun cart to go between truck and stage or close enough to work out of the truck? Thanks.
  16. DAA Racer. Never had it come out. I am having a custom kydex made for Hard as Hell to protect the optic and make re-holstering quicker.
  17. Max rifle distance still sitting at 550 or did you all bump it out a bit further?
  18. 8 MOA is much easier to pick up and track. Have ran both but much preferred the 8.
  19. Low power spring installed as requested. Runs 100% on 1145fps AAs.
  20. Got your shotgun yesterday. Got it tuned up and running Federal bulk this morning. Back down for the comp now. Will go back out either today or tomorrow. Edit to update: Comp is on. Gun runs 100% on Winchester AA 1250fps. Really close to running 1200fps loads as is. Low power recoil spring should put you into the range you are wanting.
