back story: did my first tactical rifle comp last year with my sbr, eotech, can (yes it was a bit front heavy). after doing it i relized i needed magification for the long shots. so i started putting together the 18" rifle. my dilima now is i kinda want to use my sbr with the razor to save a bit on weight. the longest shot last year was shooting 5 12" plates @ 100 yrd. i almost think i can shoot it with my reddot also. heres said rifles. other config im debating

I hear it's light as heck, so that might make my rifle muzzle heavy.

Here's what I got- Noveske 18" nsr MUR upper with battle comp 2.0 Noveske gen II with hiperfire 24c Magpul K grip Vortex hd genII Now where I'm stuck, which stock? Magpul rifle stock or Vltor emod I kinda would like the emod since the upper is the mur, kinda keep it in the family per say. But I know the a2ish stock will get me lighter recoil. I plan on making this my 3gun only rifle.

I'm using a 10.5 noveske now and I think it's heavy. And I have a aac break on it that everyone says is loud as hell. I did run a match once with my can buy that was HEAVY. so that's why I'm in market for maybe a 14/16"

I guess they could have duck tapped the 4 boxes together slapped a shipping label on it and said good luck? Come on you can't ship anything anymore for much less than 10 bucks shirt of small items that will fit in a envelope. Shooters connection will always get my vote. They may not be a family but they sure argue like one lol. They've been doing this for a loooong time! I Get I do, I don't mind paying shipping, but what they quoted me was $13 to ship targets. Also for 4 boxes of pasters was additional $10. So 2 separate shipping charges? I don't know why they just dont throw them in the same box is all I'm saying.

I'm currently using a 10.5 noveske switch block. It's heavy. I got rid of my 10.3 dd for it, do more kinda wish I kept it. I know about the 18" guys saying mine will be short, but that's why I wouldn't mind a 14-16". I just never picked up a LW or the gov profile with the fatter front barrel.

I'm building a light 3 gun rifle, I've decided on a 16" DD barrel, but what's the real benefits of their LW & gov profile. The front of barrel looks to be heavier. Or should I get the gov profile in the 14"?

So can I leave round in chamber and put on safe? Would that DQ me?

only thing is shooter connection charges double shipping, one for targets and seperate for pasters. 10 shipping in a bit much for 4 boxes of pasters.
