  1. I use Fidelity for long duration trades. I used to dabble in the day trading world. If you want to play small scale at that I recommend Suretrader as it is offshore and you can bypass the pattern day trader rule if you want to play with a small account. They have reasonably priced trades and Level II access.
  2. Green is my preference. I find it very beneficial to put new ones in fairly frequently as the newer ones are always brighter - not sure why. Maybe the top and ends get scuffed and don't transmit light as well?
  3. I prefer the CE Pocket Pro II over all the others. Rugged, loud beep, large enough not to lose.
  4. I just can't see the benefit (for show maybe?). Since there is no benefit, I prefer to move slow and cautiously around a loaded gun.
  5. Yeah sometimes simple is better. A lot of modifications that are sold are solutions in search of a problem. I suggest polishing the powder dropper and powder funnel with jewelers polish to make drops more consistent. Also, it helps to ground the press (like a subwoofer). Just fasten a piece of cooper wire to the press and attach it the the screw holding a nearby outlet plate in place and that will eliminate static buildup. I do recommend a shell bearing kit (including replacement detent ball) for both the 1050 and 650. I also have the Level 10 Spring Elimination kit and that seems to smooth it out. A light kit is a great addition as well.
  6. Add zip ties to shell plate. Really smooths out the press. Will try to see if I can upload a picture...
  7. I used to shoot 100 yards fairly consistently. Hit one at 200 once but that was shear luck.
  8. Shooting with both eyes open all the time was one of the hardest things for me to overcome. Just took tons of conscious effort and practice. If you stick with it, you will be rewarded!
  9. sgammo.com (no affiliation) has had some really good deals lately as well.
  10. Can't say enough good things about my Sturdy safe. Sold my other 2 small ones once I got the Sturdy. Doesn't have any frills on the inside, but it is built like a tank.
  11. Ammo is pretty damn cheap right now. Midway recently had IMI 55gr for 23c shipped.
  12. We had the lead from our bays recently reclaimed. I bet one of those guys would also do the brass do. Send me a PM and I will send you the contact info for the lead guy we used.
  13. Went to Pedorthist today - 2 pairs of custom inserts orders (partially covered by insurance) and 1 pair of "old man" style New Balances shoes....
  14. They are are some type of custom inserts. Supposedly better than ones you buy at Walmart etc.
  15. I just don't sell across state lines. Make sure to get a copy of their valid driver's license and preferably a concealed carry permit along with a bill of sale.
  16. Well doc said I had partial tear/strain of plantar and achilles. Basically just need more time to heal. Prescribed orthopedic shoe inserts and topical anti-inflammatory. I'll give them both a try plus take it easy for a couple more months. Anyone have any experience with shoe inserts?
  17. Generally agree re podiatrists. I am going to my orthopedic surgeon. He is a shoulder specialist and did my shoulder (yeah another Crossfit injury) a couple of years ago with great results. Going to get his opinion on foot before seeing a specialist.
  18. I wore soft contacts from 6th grade until age 32 then switched to hard contacts. Been wearing hard contacts now for 14 years. Best decision ever. They take about 2 weeks to get used to and require 2-3 fittings as your eye reshapes, but way worth it. Zero eye dryness and they are sharper than soft contacts or glasses since they are hard plastic.
  19. Three things: Buy used equipment. Reload your own ammo (with a used reloading rig). Diligently pick up free brass after all matches. Shoot polymer coated lead bullets.
  20. Had same issue with vitamin D during winter. Summer I get out enough to recharge but supplements help during the winter months.
