  1. No, I do not have the ammo I'm using physically with me. No, I have not used this ammo before. I put myself in a rough spot I know. To resolve the issue I ordered some of the same ammo to be delivered to my house next week. So I will have a week to work with it in my match gun to see how it all goes. Rather than finding out in the practice bay the morning of... I know all these rules, I've shot CZ's since 2014, I worked for a CZ gunsmith and yet here I am..... 1050 or 1100 need to get back in stock for 9mm....
  2. I'm thinking matches 8n the western US, 2012 to 2015 is when I seem3d to see it very frequently
  3. When weight limits were different I know people did a g34 style cut in the slide. As well as milling a trench out of the rail area, but inside of the slide so it wasn't visible w the gun in battery
  4. Looking at the approved list, all the 147gr offerings are 1.140 or longer
  5. I reamed my sp01 barrels back in the day. I don't have the cutter that will work on the S2 barrel
  6. It wouldn't chamber reliably in my gun
  7. I'll order some to come to my house before nats, so I can know rather than hope.
  8. Taking just in case ammo would negate the whole point of buying ammo there hahaha. I really don't wanna do that.
  9. I'll be shooting the Eley 147, certified match ammo, at prod nats in a few weeks. Any concerns with it being too long? Anyone else shot it out of their shadow 2, shadow 2 orange?
  10. I looked to see if anyone else had done a review of this specific belt and could not find it. Lots of them about their battle belt, but not the competition one. Probably the steep price scaring people away from taking a gamble on it.
  11. I remember when having a ring on a hand held flashlight was bridge too far in idpa..... And I also remember making sure I had a handheld flashlight in my bag at all times, as some sort of lowlight scenario was sure to be at most matches.
  12. Absolutely job one, d9nt let your choices be what beats you. In all aspects
  13. Yes, I'd support differentiating between weapon mounted and handheld/no light
  14. Using your reasoning a dinner plate sized window would be excellent. So it cuts both ways. Ideally there'd be no window frame/housing if you ask me.
  15. Because you're not looking through the housing. Window size or "objective" is totally immaterial. A person shouldn't be treating a rds like a scope and looking through the window.
  16. When I worked at automatic accuracy we had a set measurement we milled off every disco before fitting. This also gave a mirror finish to the surface as well for a good polish. This was the 2nd worst part of the building the guns. You'd put it all back together and then have to take it apart, over and over. Worst part? Fitting sights that were recalcitrant.
  17. I have a kore edc belt as well and like it. i had the daa lynx belt and didnt like it. with the advent of half links and ratchets maybe i would have.... my biggest hopes for the kore competition belt is moving my gear and having it all still fit solid, and the adjustment ability of the kore ratchet vs just pulling velcro tighter.
  18. Totally fine if I got that separation of rf from cf
  19. I'd like to see centerfire be the "real" steel challenge and spin the rimfire off into its own, entirely separate thing.
  20. Ordered one tonight, see if it's a $126 belt.....
  21. Agreed. As a tri focal progressives wearer, I can get all sorts of goofiness in if I'm not extremely attuned to doing things exactly the same gun to gun
  22. Curious as I want my boss hanger and daa pouches to not wiggle if the belt is too thin in thickness vs my daa belt.
  23. Interesting. I like their buckle adjustment but wonder how stiff or thick the belt is...
  24. Uspsa will sell your info to a 3rd party. Have a shell Corp buy the entire email list and then send an email to everyone. Day after day. Take out a full page ad in front site and say it there. Guerrilla marketing at every, and I mean every, match.
  25. Inhalation or ingestion are the routes lead is going to take into your body and wreak havoc. Especially if you're still growing, specially neurological system. I at one time had a 41 for my blood lead level. Thankfully I'm down to single digits now. No more indoor shooting, wear gloves and mask when processing brass. Do not eat or drink unless I have washed my hands. Overlooked is the lead we transfer to our pets, petting them the minute we walk in and them rubbing on our pants.
