  1. where will the link for online registration be? I'm looking around and can't find it? thanks, riggs
  2. I'm ok with that...I'm just looking for a nice soft load but just got started with WSF. I've talked to some guys that are running 3.2 WSF with the 147 and are making power factor supposedly. I'm currently running TG and wanted to move into something not so hot so I think this is right. I'm OK with any load...I'm just curious how low people have taken WSF and got the desired results. i'll be doing some testing soon but was just looking for some start data. thanks for the info! riggs
  3. this is for 3 gun...powder factor is NOT important. what's the lowest measurement for WSF that people have tested for 9mm with an Xtreme 147? this is going to get shot out of a glock 34 I went down to 3.2 and things seemed fine...I was curious if I can bring it down to 3.1 or even 3.0 even thanks, riggs
  4. at what age is a shooter no longer considered a "junior" ???
  5. I want in on this match!!!! trying to lock up a team member now. can someone give me a textbook definition of a "junior" shooter? what is the age break where they are no longer considered junior?
  6. ok...thanks for all the feedback guys. i'll be finding another 34 to build up then. much appreciated as always riggs
  7. Yeah that was my thought too. This is what I worked with this year. I'm just curious how many shooters have had issues where the arch was over for them due to massive failure with a glock? Fun $$$ is tight and I can't make up my mind as to whether or not I want to do the same thing with my glock??
  8. so I have a question I was hoping I could get some input from everyone on? in and of the sports...USPSA, IDPA or 3 Gun....how many of you guys keep a spare pistol in your bag/car for that rare occasion where your primary competition pistol goes down? the reason I ask...last year was my first season of competitive shooting...I was using an M&P and during the course of the year I built a second M&P that was identical to my competition pistol. it was there in case there was a serious failure...I figured I could just grab the spare and get right back into the next upcoming stage without having to "fix" what went wrong with the primary. no moving forward...I've sold my M&P and moved over to glocks...and I have 34 that I worked up for 3 gun. I'm tossing around the idea again of building another identical 34 to have as a spare. am I wasting my time and money building up the second pistol? how many other guys out there keep a spare pistol in case of failure...and out of those guys...how many GLOCK shooters keep a second pistol. I'm proficient working on safe action pistols...does it make more sense to just keep all the spare parts handy and save that cash for something else? thanks, riggs
  9. check is in the mail! how are we handling squads??? do we just write in the squad name on the check or place a note in the envelope???
  10. I could care less about a fraction of an ounce....the part need to be reliable and work as intended..weight is secondary. that being said...I have not had a chance to see one of mark's guards up close but I'm sure they're sweet as hell..as are all his other products!
  11. I run the AP Customs keymod carbon guard and love it! I ended up picking this one up because you can order it in 17" length..which is perfect if you're running a longer barrel like I am. it comes in really handy when shooting prone or bracing on any structure..it just gives me more options for shooting position that a shorter barrel would. the keymod is nice too because it was a nice clean simple way to attach a sling for some of the local matches. if you go to shooters source you can see it there..he sells them. it's identical to the Lancer product...so they both must source the carbon tube from the same manufacturer. I like the octagonal shape..just feels good in the hand and allows me to feel the 'bottom" of the guard. and like I said..that extended length was the selling point for me...not many companies make a 17" carbon guard and it fits the 18.5" barrel perfect!
  12. I run a JP CTR02 upper receiver on a Lancer lower receiver and it fits fine...
  13. Read through this entire thread...there is a lot of info but all of it will be very worth your time. There will be minor work needed to be done to the lifter and some port work...I did all mine with hand files and a dremel. I have maybe 4 hours into it total and that's working on the port a second time after deciding I could open it up a lot more.
  14. I think it's time to entertain the idea of blackballing a vendor...but lets at least give him an opportunity to speak up. someone want to email him a link to this thread???
  15. i'll badmouth them for you...if people are willing to take your money than they better damn well pick up the phone when you call. just my $.02
  16. hey can a mod help out...I wasn't paying attention and posted this on the wrong place...delete it and i'll repost over there. sorry about that.... riggs

  20. What the hell does one need 60 mags for???? And I could modify 60 mags in less than one hour. And then when my rifle goes down I can borrow one from anybody But seriously.... 60 mags :/
  21. i keep seeing these posts where guys keep stating that you'll have to mill out or modify some lower receivers to accept a 3rd Gen PMAG....we are talking about PLASTIC MAGAZINES here....all you need is a rasp or metal file and it takes about 30 seconds to remove the magazine stop....then they'll work in any lower out there. am I missing something?
  22. well I've got a brunch to go to so i'll roll in around 10:00 and start then
