  1. I called it...knew sarge was going to be on that stage...God have mercy on us all.
  2. Anyone wanting to split lodging? I'm on squad 301, shooting all day Sunday.
  3. Shooting all day Friday. Anniversary is on that Monday so it would be in my best interest to be home instead of traveling.
  4. Give MBX a shot. If it doesn't work Adrian Cobb will make it right. He's been very responsive and helpful in my experience.
  5. Thanks, Ranger. I nearly ate shit twice with all the running, though. Gotta work in my foot work. Major props to the ROs and staff. ROs for keeping up with me and staff for putting on a worthwhile and we'll ran match. The lunch provided was delicious. Scores were prompt and atmosphere was great. Job well done!
  6. Had an absolute blast at the match. Well ran with challenging stages. Worth the drive.
  7. I thought I wanted a shorty...then I shot one with major ammo. Nope. I'll stick to a 5". Try before you buy if possible.
  8. Oh no...it's a memory stage from the depths of hell! Too late to get my entry fee back?
  9. Eric, Yep. I took 1st A class and received a certificate for a FNS-9. Right after Dave Sevigny dropped my plaque ;D kidding...I helped.
  10. Yep. About 3-4 months. I sent my Trubor in for slide replacement right after thanks giving and got it back early April. They were very communicative through the process. They paid for shipping both ways, too.
  11. Thanks, Jeep. I let the wheels fall off a bit in irons, but had a freaking blast in open. Open minor with a shorty is almost cheating.
  12. Coolpapabell, he had the check for me and the rest in his hand saturday. He was calling names to see if they were in attendance at the JABS match and if not he was mailing them. Expect them soon.
  13. I picked up mine in person today. The trophies are amazing! Dan and Jeremy did a great job.
  14. The match was amazing! Jeremy and Dan put on a great event with an awesome prize table. Those guys deserve a round of applause for their hard work and the well polished match. Shooting nothing but steel was great and its nice to see oddball matches every once in awhile.
  15. Thanks, Gooldy. I decided to go with the JMCK appendix holster. A buddy of mine has one for his G19 and it is well made for AIWB. 9-10 week lead time, but I can wait. I think AIWB is not for everyone for obvious reasons, bit it can be very effective if trained and using a good holster.
  16. Gun Phan is correct. No minimum PF, but if it doesn't knock it over it doesn't count. I'd suggest 125PF ie greater minimum.
  17. 174PF, 124 ibejihead, 6.8 grains CFE pistol, 3 small holes, CCG titanium 2 port comp.
  18. I've been appendix carrying a SW Shield in a holstereo not designed for AIWB for the last 9 months or so, and there is no problem for me. I've carried a full size 1911 IWB for several years with no issues. My dress and body type make it a non issue. To give you an idea, I'm 5'8, 200 pounds, stocky, fit (I power lift for fun), with broad shoulders. I wear button downs loose in the front when I'm dressed casual, and have concealed a 5" 2011 AIWB once or twice. It's the weight, cheap replacement cost, and 19+1 capacity that make me want to carry the P09, and appendix has proven viable for me. Personal record with my shield on a modified bill drill (5 yards) was 1.81. I like appendix a lot. Hope that filled you in a bit. AIWB is not for everyone, though, for sure.
  19. Hi Guys, I've decided that my P-09 will be better suited as a carry gun than shooting production seeing as I'm pretty committed to shooting open and limited. Looking for an AIWB holster for it but not having much luck. I saw JMCK has one, but that's about it. Would like something like the INCOG, but am not seeing an option for a P-09. Thanks for any help. -John
  20. Really looking forward to this match. Should be great if Alabama sectional is anything to judge off of. Dan and Jeremy can put together a hell of a match.
