These look extremely similar to the Cmore Rts2. What, besides the lens profile, makes them different? I have a very strong feeling these are made in the same factory as the Rts2 and Romeo 3.

I use an rts2 10 moa currently. 8 moa on the back up gun. Haven't fully decided which I like better, but both are great for faster dot tracking during recoil.

Unfortunately we do not have any engraving capability. We left it blank so the owner could mark it however they want. 9mm, 38 super, 38 super comp, 9x23mm, etc.

The hybrid/sight tracker barrels are also available from KKM here at Shooters Connection, now. A bit cheaper than SV and available in more sizes. My current and last years open guns are both hybrids. What Pfiddy said is accurate. They are more expensive, both to buy and to fit to a gun, and harder to fit than a standard bull. Finding a smith that knows what they are doing is important. I trust Pat Rafferty at Rafferty Custom to fit both of mine. Great option for a race gun. I know at least one person who carries a custom 2011 from Pat for EDC.

We are expecting another small batch of 5" threaded 355 hybrid barrels in the next two or three weeks. Shoot me an email at johnv@shootersconnection.com and I can get you on the list to be notified when they come in. After that, we will be getting another larger batch in mid-late March.

Hybrid barrel is a bull 1911 Barrel with an extra strip, or rib, of material on top to add weight and make it easier to add ports to it. Been around for over 20 years and up until recently only available form one manufacturer.

Of course! We only got in the 5.0" threaded, and the non threaded 5" barrels on Friday. The commander threaded and 5.4" threaded are in route soon. We only have a few of the 5.0" threaded left currently. Definitely going to be reordering those as soon as possible.

Trying to gauge interest. I have a line on a true ambi PCC lower for glock mags. Ambi bolt catch, safety, and mag release forged lower receiver. Last round bolt hold open, as well. Made by a very reputable company. Trying to figure if it would be just lefties wanting them, or if there would be a wider market.

More static weight in the barrel, cleaner gun, easier to drill ports, reduced mass in the slide without doing slide cuts, and the ability to secure the comp shouldered up against the rib. In open I'm sticking with hybrid builds for the foreseeable future.

Yup. 9.8 grains of AA7 here with a 124 PD. Soft, yo.

You'd also be surprised to know that at least 4 out of the 12 super squad shooters used 9 major.

Yep. 5.4" threaded bull and have a Smith fit it to your gun. I've ran Jareds comp all year and love it. We try to keep them in stock at Shooters Connection for you guys and have his new two port design as well if you're building a shorty or want a shorter overall gun.

No exact plans for a date to have them. A lot depends on demand after initial launch. For example, short rib barrels, different sizes, quantity of each, and ramps all play a part. If you have a certain request shoot me an email at Johnv@shootersconnection.com and I'll take note of customer requests.

W/N barrels are planned for the future. For right now, you can have your Smith recut your frame to C/P if you're in a hurry.

We don't have firm pricing yet, but expected to retail in the $325-350 range. Once pricing is locked in we will go live with pre-orders.

Rib shape will mimic the SV radius on the rear of the rib. W/N will be forthcoming after the initial release. Half ribs are something we are considering as well, depending on how these do.

Wanted to give you all a heads up! KKM has started producing hybrid 1911/2011 barrels and they are going to be available mid-January. The first batch will be all Clark/Para ramp, but we plan to expand to W/N depending on feedback. Short chambered so you can ream the barrel to your own specifications. The first types that are going to be available are: 5“ OAL non threaded, 355 and 40 5.4" OAL threaded, 355 5.0" OAL threaded, 355 4.65" OAL threaded, 355 They should be available for pre-order at some point after the new year. That is definitely on the list for future batches once we get the ball rolling. C/P ramp is more universal and easier for any Smith to fit, so we went with that cut for the initial launch. Getting these barrels out there is the first step.

Just got word from KKM. They have started production and Shooters Connection should have them in stock mid-late January. Short rib barrels are on the horizon after the launch, so stay tuned!
