Do you use the factory supplied buffer pads?

So with the 140 springer base pad and grams follower how many 40s&w rounds are u guys getting? With czc bases and followers I am getting 21 in 3 and 22 in a another.

IPSC for me, agree easy to seat mags, love the factory fixed sight so it was an easy decision.

Isn't titegroup the most used powder in action shooting sports ?

It's not about lighter (although small benefit) but about being a lot crisper. On both my TS - factory trigger is good, but the competition hammers make it great! Agree 100% with this and I run a 15lb hammer spring with the competition hammer. I tried lighter springs and you can really drop the pull weight but I love the crisp clean break with no creep still under 2lbs. The only thing my 1911 trigger has on the my TS is 1/2mm shorter reset.

I can feed swc lead and coated from different bullet makers just no luck with xtreme swc. I use metalforum and chip power mags

Powder check weights are a must,seconds confirm your drops leads you to quick piece of mind. I own a rcbs 5 10 and is always accurate and dependable but a little slow. I also own a Lyman accutouch 2000 and love that fast and accurate. I will always have a good beam scale. I will always have powder check weights.

Have a 40 TS that I did the grip reduction, trigger and beavertail undercut. VZ grips, front and back checkered 20lpi and cerakote. Added fo front sight, czc hammer,springs and idpa magwell. Compared with a elete limited that a very good friend shoots I would consider it going backwards if I bought a limited.

I made a paper template and then cut out 1 wrap around piece of skate tape for my p09. I love it. My 40 TS got a grip reduction and checkered front and back 20lpi with vz grips. SP01s get front and back skate tape with rubber for me and vz for my boys smaller hands. 1911 wears the vz operator 2s with 20lpi front and back checkered. I would try the skate tape first because you can always remove if you don't like them. I have never had my skate tape move or fall off but I do have to be careful with the brake cleaner.

I started on a limited budget so my son convinced me to buy a pro1000. I have retrieved 124gr Montana Gold hps out of sand traps and ballistic blocks and I could reload and shoot them again. The rifling is the only visible on the bullet that would otherwise look perfect. I would NOT use these for self defense unless it is all you have.

The best cure for leading really isn't powder but bullet to barrel size. Slug your barrel and be .002 bigger with your bullet size. You can also play with bullet hardness BHN# , some don't like it to soft or to hard.

Yes to the extra power sear spring. You might have to order a different size da roller if your having timing issues. The p series are easy to trouble shoot

A p09 will hold 24 rounds with the extended base pad and spring kit. The safety or decocker will not bet easily disengaged and gtg for 3 gun if that is your worry.

The trigger bar spring is staked from the factory. I put mine in tight and bend the spring to get the desired effect, trial and error. I have used new springs that haven't gone through the staked removal process and they do go in with less trial and error.

Is the area 3 wall, back and 2 sides? Steel studs or construction lumber? If it is a 3 wall you will have no problem since there should be studs in the corners. 2x4 frame with 2 layers of 3/4 plywood will be more than sufficient. Find the studs not every dwelling is built 16 inch center for stud layout , it could be 24 inch. If it is 2 wall, back and 1 side that is a more complicated bench.
