  1. I'm really pumped for this match, anyone know what else the facebook post said for hints?
  2. Im really surprised that there isnt a thread going for this match, for questions like this one.
  3. Something I highly reccomend that I haven't seen mentioned yet. When I practice reloads my first 2 or three reloads are always at about half speed. This helps build confidence and get your muscles loose/warm. Also it would avoid you messing up the first load and being extremely frustrated about it.
  4. If you get the piccatinny rail, you can always remove it. Never know if you might want a roll over iron or something for short range.
  5. I'll see you at the s&w regional sporting my new 8x24
  6. The 8 series they are held in groups of 8. in the Q (quad) series they are held in groups of 4.
  7. I would love to, and I almost certainly will in the long run but at the moment I need a short term solution.
  8. I would love to buy one of those extra mag wells off you. I'll shoot you a pm. And the only time I'm really worried about my ar mag change times is on 3 gun nation classifiers. When there is no movement and there is a manditory mag change. The whole stage is about 10-15 seconds and my mag change split time is 2.5 seconds. That's a huge portion of the stage.
  9. was working ar reloads in practice today, times are pretty slow fastest ones were in the 2.3-2.5 area. Is there anything I can do to improve these times other than buying a magwell, which I might do anyway? Also which magwell do yall reccomend?
  10. This, also I don't understand why they are so much more popular than nordic 18 round extension
  11. Appears like yall like the Invictus Practical, which is where I was leaning, now should I get the 8x24 or the Qx24? Pros and cons of each? Why did yall choose the one you did?
  12. I'm trying to decide which chest mounted shotgun shell caddy to get. I'm a bigger dude so having caddys on the belt is a pain especially when I have to pick anything up off the ground. Plus I reload quads with my weak hand so chest mounted is fastest for me. Right now I've got my eye on invictus practical's Deturk vest q.24 and carbon arms Ssl backbone that hold 24 shells. I'm also open to other suggestions. My biggest concerns are shells not falling out when running, she'll release when I want them to come out, and durability when going prone. In that order.
  13. I would like to second this, and present a couple other options including oxy-a torch, C4, and using a mini gun to shoot it off.
  14. I have Benelli sbe (basically the same gun). With a Nordic +9 and a shooters source +1. I used the spring that came with the nordic tube and didn't cut any off it. I can hold 13 in the tube. I've never had any function issues cause by it.
  15. I really wanna see this done. Pictures please
  16. I don't see H&K SBE on there, guess I'll go with benelli SBE.
  17. I curious to see the answer, the other day I saw one with the red dot mounted in front if the gas block. I thought it was very interesting,
  18. 3 moa at 15 yards is .45 inches. Which is smaller than a quarter... Did you mean a 3 inch group?
  19. I would try calling benelli again, sounds like you talked to someone that was having a bad day...
  20. I shoot both the Geissele Super Dynamic 3g and the AR gold. Personally I like the sd3g better on a anything under 200 yards, but on shots out to 300-600 the AR gold really stand out. But if your on a budget the CMC drop in triggers are REALLY good for the price.
  21. So I'm considering painting my AR that I use for 3 gun. I want to stay as far away from "tactical" as possible. I have a carbon fiber tube so I'm thinking paint the back silver and fade it to black carbon fiber at the front than cover the who thing with blue splatter or some other blue pattern. Maybe switch the silver and blue? Any suggestions on pattern or painting techniques? I have painted quite a few non firearm related things before, so I'm pretty confident with my paint skills.
  22. I really like that but I'm unsure on the clamping system it uses to hold the scope
